Okay this one is going to be a little different, basically this chapter is setting the scene and then you get to choose which boy you want, and that will determine how the situation ends. The scenario and slight change of story line was suggested by SilleKvistRydahl . Hope you enjoy!
You are a (A/T)
'I'm not clumsy. It's just that the floor hates me, the tables and chairs are bullies, and the wall gets in the way!'
She didn't want to get up. But she knew she had to, another days battle, another day struggling for survival. So she stayed in her warm cave, un-moving.
"(Y/N)! Get up or your going to be late for school."
Her response was a groan and to snuggle under her duvet more.
"(Y/N)!" her mother called again.
She didn't want to get up, but she knew she had to survive another day of school.
"(Y/N)! I wont ask you again!"
"Alright I'm up!" she called back giving up.
However there was already a serious problem. Everything was a blur.
"Crap! My contacts must have fallen out when I was asleep." she muttered to herself.
As from that moment she moved like a ninja, barely daring to move as she groped her bed sheets for the small lenses that were responsible for her not becoming Little Miss Clumsy. But her mum cut her search short.
"(Y/N)! If you don't get out of bed right now I'll pour water over your head!"
"Agh! Fine!" she yelled back angrily.
In her temper she threw the duvet off her and stood up from her bed, but a tiny *crack* caught her ears. She had just stood on, and cracked her contact lenses.
"Damnit! How could I be so stupid!?" she scolded herself.
Still barely able to see she was able to pick the broken lenses up and confirmed with her touch that she couldn't wear them. So she continually grumbled to herself as she awkwardly got dressed into her uniform, before guessing what text books she was putting in her bag and then stumbling down the stairs.
"It's about time you got ready missus, and what was all that banging about upstairs?" her mother asked as she walked into the kitchen, after banging into the door frame.
"I stepped on my contact lenses." (Y/N) grumble in response.
"Oh you silly girl!" she laughed at her.
(Y/N) just pouted as she sat down at the table grabbing a piece of toast, however she accidentally put raspberry instead of strawberry jam on it.
"Don't you have any spare lenses?" her mother asked sitting down in front of her.
"No, that was my last pair, I was actually going to order more today." (Y/N) sighed.
"Well you can't walk around blind all day so your just going to have to wear your glasses."
"What!? Mum no way! I look terrible when I wear those!" (Y/N) begged.
"And you'll also look terrible if you keep banging your head, can't read your textbooks or end up getting hit by a car because you can't see. So go and put your glasses on." she ordered.
Knowing she couldn't win, after finishing her breakfast (Y/N) went back up the stairs and found her discarded glasses. They had rectangular lenses with a bright red frame, when she first got them a year ago she had thought them stylish. Had.
She hated the thought of wearing them but how else was she going to see? So with her low spirits she headed out the door and down to the bus stop.
As she waited for the bus she constantly had to push the bridge of her glasses up her nose, already dreading the day ahead. But when the bus came around the corner the fear of being judged for her appearance made her whip of her glasses and stuff them into her satchel.
However she straight away had problems, she showed the bus driver her coffee shop loyalty card rather than her bus pass. After that incident when she made it to school and it was almost like an Olympic event, to see how many people she could bump into.
When the warning bell rang she made it to registration only hitting three door frames, making it thankfully to her seat.
"Hey (Y/N) are you okay?" Amy asked her during registration.
"I will be when the day ends." she sighed.
Knowing Amy wouldn't laugh (Y/N) explained her dilemma, and Amy of course said she should wear her glasses, which was soon to be proven.
First lesson was science, (Y/N) accidentally added too much of one chemical causing the reaction to foam all over the work top.
"(Y/N) you really need to wear your glasses." Amy whispered to her.
Second lesson was physical education, they were playing volleyball and (Y/N) ended up getting hit in the face with the ball five times in one match.
"(Y/N) you really need to wear your glasses." Amy whispered again.
And third lesson was History, and (Y/N) couldn't read the text book and had to get Amy to help her.
"You really should wear your glasses." Amy sighed again.
If (Y/N) got through today it would be a miracle.
Just a reminder that I'm always open to suggestions, but I'm afraid I don't take requests. So whether I write a suggested one shot or not depends on whether I can think of a story line.
Hope you enjoy this set of one shots.
