You are still a (A/T)

I really don't want to wear my glasses.

"Have you done that homework for Miss Lane?"

"What homework!?"

"The one we were given last week, honestly Sonic!"

(Y/N) sat happy as she could be at the moment eating her lunch as the rest of the gang talked about who and who hadn't done the maths homework, which was due in the fifth and final lesson of the day.

And speaking of her day (Y/N) had banged and injured herself many more times due to her lack of sight, the most recent mishap being she bought a cheese and tomato sandwich rather than a egg sandwich from the lunch hall. Despite her not liking her chosen sandwich she ate it so no one would guess anything was up.

Luckily no one had mentioned her constant 'accidents' through out the day.

'I just have to get through last lesson, I just have to get through last lesson, I just-

"Have you done the homework (Y/N)?"

Pulled out of her thoughts (Y/N) saw Silver had asked the question.

"No because I'm not in your class remember?" (Y/N) gently reminded him.

"Oh yeah that's right!" he said face palming at himself.

All of the gang where in the same class, which was taught by Miss Lane. All the gang apart from Tails and (Y/N) that was, who were in the top maths class together taught by Mr Segar.

"Speaking of maths what you think we'll be doing in maths this afternoon?" (Y/N) asked Tails.

She was already panicking that she wouldn't be able to read the sums.

"I think Sir said we would be going over factorising." Tails replied.

Great, factorising included brackets and X's and Y's. And she knew she wouldn't be able to read the sums. Maybe she could just bunk off?

"What's the matter? Factorising isn't that hard." Tails asked when he saw the face (Y/N) was pulling.

"Oh nothing's the matter! I've just got a bit of a headache." (Y/N) said.

Technically she wasn't lying, yes she had a headache. She just didn't tell anyone about the fact she couldn't see. Tails left it at that, and everyone missed the silent subtle glare Amy was directing at (Y/N). Annoyed at her friend for not helping herself.

The end of lunch came around all too fast as usual, and everyone headed to afternoon registration. Of course Amy tried to convince (Y/N) to wear her glasses again but she might as well have been dead to her concerns.

And then came maths.

Let's just say (Y/N)'s head was ringing by the time she sat down in her seat.

"Are you ready for factorising?"

(Y/N) didn't need to be told it was Tails taking a seat next to her.

"You bet!" She replied to obviously fake enthusiasm.

"By the way I got you this." He said placing something on the desk.

Holding the item (Y/N) could tell it was a bottle of water.

"A bottle of water?" She asked.

"You said you had a headache so I got you a bottle of water from the vending machine for you. Headaches are usually caused by dehydration." Tails explained.
