Chapter 42-
"He likes me a friend though, right?" I ask Mark, the thought of Aaron liking me still setting in.
"Nope. He likes likes you."
"Oh..um..." I render speechless. I can't believe that. It's hard to process, since I've had a fangirl crush on him for a while. Plus, I'm dating one of his best friends, so like...what?!
"How long have you known about it?" I ask Mark.
"A few months." My jaw drops again.
"Holy balls!"
"Yeah, I just thought I should tell you."
"Oh, okay..." I nod and turn my laptop on again. Mark leaves to go do something Mark-like, so I sit in silence, trying to pick a good distracting game. It's hard, cause my mind is racing, so I just play some Happy Wheels. It doesn't work, so I just go onto YouTube and watch cat videos and videos of spiders killing other creepy animals. Yes, I find it intruguing, deal. After what seems like hours, which it's only like one hour in reality, I am watching a documentary on centipedes when Mark walks in.
"What the hell are you watching?"
"Something about centipedes."
"..Why..?"
"Distractions. Shhh."
"It's still bothering you...about Aaron?"
"A little. It's not in a bad way, I'm just trying to make sense of it. I've always had a fan girl crush on him, so it's like...what?"
"I get it. I wouldn't be upset if you like him too."
"Why wouldn't you...just curious."
"If it's just a fan girl crush, I think its hilarious."
"True, it is kinda funny," I nod, tuning back into my documentary. Mark walks out, with sort of a uneasy look on his face. I shrug it off. It's just a fan girl crush...right?
