Sugawara Koushi | Tangled up

(D/n) = dog's name

"(D/n)! Here boy!" You called by the front door, holding a (f/c) leash in your one hand. Right after you called him, your German Shepard came bounding towards you. You laughed, "Wanna go for a walk?"

The playful puppy excitedly wagged his tail in response. You took no time in clipping his collar to his leash and running outside with him.

It was a beautiful day so you decided to take your 3 year old German Shepard out for a walk in the park. Well, you call it a walk, but the two of you usually end up playing with a ball or racing each other. (D/n) always wins the races.

Once you got to the park, you saw other people walking their dogs too. You sighed, knowing (D/n)'s going to get too excited around the other dogs and try to run off. You wrapped his leash tight around your wrist to prevent it if possible.

You walked (D/n) until you spotted someone who caught your eye. It's been a while, but you recognized that silver hair anywhere. You grinned and walked towards the male.

"Oh hey Koushi!" You called out to him. The male turned and smiled when he saw you,

"Hi (y/n)!"

The two of you stopped in front of each other, both grinning. You haven't seen Koushi since High school, but you remember him well. He was in all of your classes and you've always had a tiny crush on him throughout your three years. It was nice to see him.

"It's been a while. How are you?" You said happily. You noticed the smaller dog next to Koushi. It was a grey husky that looked to be younger than (D/n).

"I'm doing fine. What's your dog's name?" Koushi smiles while bending down to pet your dog, who was more than happy to let him. You grin at the sight.

"His name is (D/n)."

Suga smiles, "Such a cute name for a cute dog." He gives your dog one last pet before standing up. This is when you ask him what is his dog's name is. You look at the beautiful husky before petting it's head. Surprisingly, it didn't jump at you or anything. It just let you pet it.

"Oh, her name is Aika. I just got her."

Your eyes widen, "But she's so well behaved! I've had (D/n) for about a year yet he's still crazier than a squirrel on steroids."

Koushi just laughs, which you find so heartwarming. Every time he laughs you feel your heart flutter, even if it's been a long time since you two last talked.

You both had a conversation, enjoying each others presence. You both caught up on what you've been doing lately, and you find out the Koushi is going to medical school to be a doctor. During all this, you could tell (D/n) and Aika were getting bored and wanted to play.

Right then, you heard the two dogs bark and start running around. They chased each other around the two of you. At the same time both you and Koushi's leash pulled at your wrists and yanked you forward. The silver haired male crashed into you with a startled Gasp and you let out a little Yelp as you returned the gesture by crashing into him. Your face went ablaze as you felt yourself against the male's chest.

"Sorry!" You exclaimed and tried to pull yourself off of him, but the dogs leashes were keeping you tied together tightly. You lost your balance and started to fall backwards.

You prepared for impact but it never came. You felt Koushi's arm wrap around your back to keep you from falling. You were frozen in place and looked into his beautiful eyes for just a moment, him doing the same.

At the same time both of you started rambling.

"I'm so sorry!"

"Sorry, are you ok?"

"Are you ok? I'm fine"

"I'm ok."

"Good. Sorry"

"Im sorry."

You both kind of wiggled around until you realized you were stuck. Your face returned to his chest and his head was above yours. From here you could hear his heartbeat pounding in his chest and you were surprised to find out it was beating about as fast as yours.

The dogs stopped chasing each other and sat next to each other. They seemed to be mocking your position right now. Both you and Koushi looked at them.

"This is all your fault." You stuck your tongue out and (D/n), but he just barked happily back. You felt Suga laugh. Your face went red again.

You looked up at Koushi to find he was already looking down at you.

"You know what, this isn't that bad. Being tied to you, I mean." He grinned.

"I feel like the dogs are planning something." You said with a smile.

"Whatever it is that they're planning, I like it," Koushi simply gave you one of his pretty smiles, "Would you like to go out for lunch sometime?"

You blushed heavily, but nodded. You heard both puppies bark at the two of you, yet you couldn't care less if they were mocking you.

After getting out of the tangled mess, which took a while, you both let your puppies off their leashes to run around the park together. The park was fenced in, so there was no worry about them running away. While they did that, you and Koushi took a calm walk around the park.

Koushi realized you two have been talking for over two hours, so he spoke up, "We've been talking for a while so we should go check on the dogs," He looked at you, "Not that I don't enjoy talking with you."

You nodded in understanding and jogged with the male to find your dogs. It didn't take that long to find them and when you did, you let out an 'Awe'.

Both of your puppies were running around together when (D/n) strode up to Aika and licked her face. She just barked happily and continued to play around with him. It was so cute you almost died.

Koushi noticed too and remarked, "Well they seem to like each other a lot. It would break their little hearts of they got separated."

You smiled up at the guy next to you, "How about we meet here tomorrow?"

He smiled.

"I love that idea."
