"Hey Tobio!" Her voice travels through the computer speakers and into the boys ears. Kageyama feels himself smile,

"Hi (y/n). How's it going?" He sits comfortably on the bed with his computer in front of him. It was right before he was about to go to sleep, so he was in nothing but sweatpants and socks.

The (h/c) haired girl sighs dramatically, "It's so hard learning here! I only know a little bit of English, let alone how they speak in London. But it's nice. My apartment is bigger than the ones back home. And the food is amazing!" She leans back in her desk chair,
"So how is it back home?"

Kageyama pouts, "Lonely. I really miss you, babe."

(Y/n) gives him an apologetic smile, "I'm really sorry. On a lighter note, it seems volleyball has been treating you well." She found herself staring at Tobio's sculpted chest and arms. Damn.

Tobio chuckles, "Yeah I guess."

The two were silent for a moment before Tobio spoke up again, "I want you here with me..."

(Y/n)'s shoulders droop, "Me too, baby. I wish I was there with you and those hot abs."

Kageyama wanted to smile at her remark, but he was really feeling lonely. (Y/n) had been gone for at least 3 months now, and he's really missing her touch. Speaking to her through a computer screen isn't enough for him. He wants to hear her voice clearly and see every detail on her face.

"I've got to go. I love you, Tobio." (Y/n) smiles sadly at him through the screen. She holds her hand up to the screen. Tobio does the same so it looks like they are holding hands. Sadly, they had a computer screen and many miles between them.

"I love you (y/n)." The male speaks before the connect broke off. As he stared at the blank screen, Kageyama felt liquid drip onto his chest and pants. He touched his cheeks to find out he was crying.

. . . . .

A whole other 2 months went by. The two would speak to each other everyday over phone or Skype, but it didn't fill the empty gap in Kageyama's heart. He was as lonely and depressed as ever. He needed to touch, hear, and see (y/n) right in front of him. He needed her.

Everyday went by slowly for him. Tobio never realized how much he hated waking up alone. Walking the streets alone. Being alone.

"Did you win that game you were telling me about last night?" (Y/n) asked one night while they were talking through Skype.

"Yeah. It wasn't easy, but it all went well in the end." He explained. (Y/n) nodded.

"Well that's good! How is Emi doing?" (Y/n) brushed a stray hair behind her ear. Emi was their cat. She was a rag doll cat and only two years old. Kageyama looked around the room before walking over to her. He picked up the ball of fluff before walking back over to the computer with her. At the sight of Emi, (y/n) grinned.

"Hi Emi! Do you miss mommy?" The cat meowed in response. (Y/n) giggled as Emi put her paw on the screen. Tobio smiled lightly.

Emi walked away from the screen and Tobio leaned forward again to speak to (y/n). They talked for a long time. But when (y/n) yawned and Tobio rubbed his eyes due to tiredness and staring at a screen, they decided it was time to get some rest. (Y/n) blew a kiss at Tobio,

"Bye my handsome blueberry! See you soon." She then hung up. Tobio was left to wonder with a shimmer of hope,

See you soon?

. . . . .

It was another normal day for Tobio. He went to practice and work. He fed himself and Emi. All that boring stuff.
