Chapter 78: This is NOT Happening

Xander's P.O.V.

I still didn't know what to do.

I didn't wanna bring my little sister to Mark.

But then again, if I didn't, he'd kill Max, River, and Danny.

But he also promised that if I brought him Cass, he wouldn't hurt anyone.

But I didn't trust him. A part of me felt that if I did bring her, he'd go back on his promise and kill everyone.

But I knew that if I told Cassidy about the situation she'd wanna come.

But even if I didn't tell her about the situation so that she doesn't come here, what would I tell her about Max, Danny, and River?

There were so many 'buts'.

Blairwood was huge. I kept making twists and turns but couldn't find the gate that Danny and I had jumped.

I turned behind another building and suddenly collided with something.

"Xander?"

It was Legend who was followed by Elliott and Ryan.

"Whoa what are you guys doing here?" I asked.

"We came to make sure you all were okay. Where are the other three?"

Here we go.

"Well... You see.... Mark kinda has them hostage." I confessed.

"He what!?" Elliott yelled.

"Shhhh!" I warned. "Don't yell. If Mark knows that you guys are here he'll take you too."

"Does he know you're here?" Asked Ryan.

"Yea he does."

"Then why isn't he holding you hostage?"

"Because.... He told me to bring Cassidy to him."

"What?!" Legend yelled. "No! You're not bringing her here!"

"Okay imma need all of you to stop with the yelling." I stated. "He said that if I don't he'll kill the others then he'll kill her."

"Where is he?" Elliott asked.

I turned and pointed to a smaller building.

"In there. His office is in there."

Elliott stormed off towards the building and Legend and Ryan quickly stopped him.

"Dad stop. You can't go in there." Said Legend.

"I'm just gonna talk to him." Elliott replied.

"Talking to him isn't gonna change anything."

Elliott glared at him. "Get out of my way. I'll be damned if I lose another son."

He pushed through Legend and Ryan and proceeded on to Mark's office. This was gonna be bad.

We had no choice but to follow him. Once we got to the doorstep I insisted that Elliott be the only one to go in.

"No are you crazy?!" Legend exclaimed. "Why would we send him in there alone!?"

"If you two go in there then there's a chance that Mark wont let you leave." I explained.

"Then you go in there!"

I looked at him as if he had lost his mind.

"Why would I do that?" I ask.

"Because you said that Mark already knows you're here. He'll let you leave before he lets us leave."
