Madison's P.O.V.
After spending 5 minutes trying to help Elise down we waited at the end of the street for our ride.
Riley ended up calling an uber instead of a cab.
The uber showed up within 3 minutes of us standing there which was pretty fast.
We all got in as I sat in the middle.
"Where to?" The guy asked.
"Downtown Minneapolis." Riley replied.
"Downtown Minneapolis here we come." He responded. "So how old are you three if you don't mind me asking. You look fairly young."
"17, 17, and 16." Riley stated.
"Why are three teens heading to downtown Minneapolis at 1 am?"
"To party." I replied as we all chuckled.
"Name one club there that'll allow anyone under the age of 21 inside..." The driver laughed.
"Its okay. We have fake ID's." Riley answered.
"I don't..." Said Elise.
"Don't worry. I'll handle it."
The drive to Minneapolis was about 30 minutes long so we had a while to go.
We were halfway there but I was still paranoid that I'd get a call from Max or my parents asking me where I was.
"I've never snuck out a day in my life." Said Elise.
I could tell she was nervous.
"Don't worry. We're experts at sneaking out. We wont get caught. Its just that whenever we sneak out its usually back in Colorado. This is the first we've ever done this in a different state."
"What if we get lost?"
"We wont."
"This doesn't feel right."
"Elise relax. I promise you wont get caught."
"Thats not what I meant..." She mumbled.
Poor girl was paranoid.
"Why are you so quiet?" I asked Riley.
He didn't respond. Instead he just kept staring down at his phone.
"Riley." I said again.
No response.
"Riley!" I yelled.
He finally broke out of whatever trance he was in then looked at me.
His eyes were full concern.
"What?" I asked.
He quietly gulped then showed me his phone.
When I saw what was on it I nearly fainted.
On the top of the screen were the words: "Your uber has just arrived."
