Chapter 147: Revival

Cassidy's P.O.V.

"And THAT'S why Einstein's theory of a stationary universe is erroneous." Said Benji as he, Logan, and I sat on stools on the patio of the Rift.

"Did you just- debunk Einstein's theory?" Asked Logan.

"Well its already been debunked. I just went further into details about why its a silly theory."

"Benji..." I began. "You're gonna do big things one day. In the meantime, why don't you and Logan chill here for a bit while I go find Rome and Gray. I haven't seen them all day."

"You're gonna leave me by myself with Sir Isaac Newton?" Logan asked.

"I prefer Nicolaus Copernicus." Benji stated.

Logan rolled his eyes causing me to chuckle as I walked away.

I made my way through the lobby where I saw Maddy and Elise with Kai, Meadow, Payton, and Morgan.

"Mommy!" Meadow excitedly yelled when she saw me then threw her arms around my leg.

"Meadow!" I said just as excitedly as I picked her up.

"Mommy Kai did tuh wong an saw da yu-forn in na bee-zor!" She explained.

I looked at Maddy and Elise in confusion and they laughed.

"I have no idea." Said Maddy.

"Was it Kaiser?" I asked Meadow.

"Mhm." She replied as she crossed her arms and poked her bottom lip out.

"What did you do to your sister Kaiser?" I asked him.

"I not see it!" He stated defensively. "Mea-dow no! Nu-son and a weelow for two point!"
Morgan started to laugh adorably as Payton and Meadow stared at Kaiser with both of their arms crossed.

I couldn't help but to giggle. Whatever it was that Kaiser did, Morgan found it absolutely hilarious while Meadow and Payton were clearly pissed.

I gave Meadow a kiss then put her back down.

"Morgan, Kaiser, be nice to the girls. Okay?"

They both nodded their heads okay and I continued walking until I was out of the lobby.

I decided to make a quick stop at Max and Lindsay's room which was just right down the next hall.
I knocked on the door and Lindsay opened it almost instantly.

"Hey Cassie." She greeted. "I was just about to leave to go to the workout room with Journey. You should come."

"Think I'm gonna relax today. I'm still aching from yesterday's workout to be honest." I replied.

"I told you trying to bench press twice your weight wasn't a good idea." She laughed.

"Max, Stormy, and River do it all the time though. I figured if they could then I had a chance."

"Cassie, those three workout literally everyday and are way more fit than we are... There was no way you had a chance.. "

"Eh, fair enough." I gave in. "Where's Max anyways?"

"In the bathroom shaving. You can go in there if you want. I'm about to head out. I told Journey I'd meet her 10 minutes ago."

She rushed out and I made my way towards the bathroom where I heard the sound of Max's electric razor.

I stood in the doorway and just stared at him.

It took him a while to finally notice me but when he did he slightly jumped and accidentally cut his chin.
