We got out the car after arriving at Kingston's house. He lived in a bit beautiful house. There was a pool in the backyard and everything.
"Mom, how long are we staying?" I asked her as we walked to the front door. My phone opened the door with her key and we walked inside. Kingston's dog, Ella jumping off the couch and ran to me.
She was the cutest puppy I ever seen. Kingston said she's a full lab.
"We're only staying for a little while baby. Kingston wanted to ask you something." She said as we walked to the kitchen. And there where he was. He looking in the fridge. He then looked at us and smiled. "Hey baby," My mom said kissing him.
"Wassup babe? Hey Veah," he said hugging me and I hugged back.
"Hi.." I said and sat down at the table.
"You want a snack? There's plenty in the pantry." He said and I nodded.
"Chips is alright." I said and he nodded. I looked at my mom who was on her phone typing. "So, my mom told me you wanted to ask me something..." I said and he threw me a bag of chips.
"Oh yeah," He said sitting across from me and my mom sat next to me. "So you know how your mom and I, are together now..." I nodded waiting for him to get to the point. "And we're planning on moving on together. So that means, this house, is soon going to be yours. And so I'm going to need your input in your new room." He said smiling at me and my eyes widened and I looked at my mom and she smiled.
"Are you serious?!" I asked and they laughed nodding. "Omgg this is soo cool! Can I see my room?!" I asked excitedly.
"Come on," He said picking me up and throwing me on his back and I giggled as we went upstairs. There was a room we went to and he opened the door. It had a big white bed and some other furniture. "I don't want to do anything until I hear what you want. I want this room to be yours. Any and everything you want, you let me know alright?"
"Yess! This is awesomee!!" I squealed jumping up and down. "When are we going get my stuff?" I asked them.
"As soon as your mom's ready, we'll leave." Kingston said and I smiled.
"Thank you so much Kingston!" I said hugging his waist and he hugged back.
"Your welcome princess. I may not be your biological dad, but when your not around your real "dad", I'll fill that spot alright?" I stared at him. Last time someone said that, someone got hurt. "Don't worry baby girl. Ya mama already told me what happened and I'm going to guarantee that it doesn't happen. I love yoy guys so much," He said kissing my forehead then kissed my mom.
I felt like i could trust him after he said that. Like he's telling the truth.

Seeing Naveah and Kingston get along is amazing. Naveah's starting to come around. Before, she was shy and didn't talk much. She barely wanted to be around Kingston.
Now, I'm starting to see a beautiful father and daughter relationship. Even though Erica isn't here all the time, Kingston can easily fill that spot.
And honestly, I feel like we're going to a beautiful family. Especially when Kingston and I plan to have a baby and Naveah becomes a big sister, it'll be amazing.

"Baby girl go eat your chips while I talk to Kingston." I told Naveah and she jumped off of Kingston's lap and ran downstairs.
I sat on the bed next to Kingston. "She's so happy." I said and he smiled grabbing my hand.
"Yeah I know. I love to see her happy. She barely talk to me. She just .. stares at me. I feel like we're going to be close." He said kissing my forehead. "I told you this was going to work. A kid's favorite words are "any and everything you want". Trust me," he said and I laugher.
"I love you," I said kissing his nose.
He smiled. "I love you too. Now come on, let's go spoil baby girl." He said getting up and I grabbed his hand.
"Wait. Did you really mean what you said with Erica?" I asked him.
He nodded looking at me. "I don't want for her to feel as if she can't treat me like I'm just your boyfriend. In a few years or months, she'll be able to call me dad. Besides, Erica's not a good parent anyways " Kingston said and I laughed agreeing.
After I explained to him about Erica and I's past, he fully understood and told me that he'll have my back 100% of the time.
"Lets go I'm ready." I said getting up.
"Aight, lemme grab my keys."
