We got off the bus and walked to the gym's parking lot.
"Thank you so much for this wonderful season Erica." Parents said coming up to me and I grinned telling them your welcome.
"Congrats boys! Remember next month, National Tournament. So make sure y'all game ready. We're gonna practice a week before and then go to my home town, New Orleans, and eat!" I said and the boys cheered. I laughed.

I parked in the parking lot and got out getting Maria out the car and she laid her head on my shoulder wrapping her arms around my neck. Baby was sleeping after her breakfast and the car ride.
"Thanks for letting us come along.." Jessica said without turning back to me opening the door walking inside.
I went upstairs putting Maria in her bed and kissed her forehead. I went back downstairs and noticed Jessica sitting at the island.
I was about to leave but I decided to take this moment to talk to her.

"Hey, what's been going on with you?" I asked her and she looked at me.
"What do you mean?" She got walking to the living room.
"Come on Jessica, it's obvious something's been wrong with you this morning. Wassup, talk to me." I said on the couch and pulled her in my lap.
She sighed. "This is wrong with me Erica." She said pointing at my lap. She got up sitting next to me. "You say you don't want me like that anymore and you say you love Lee, but then your coming here and getting all up on me and having sex with me, WHO DOES THAT? You already know I have unconditional love for you and when you come here and basically..PLAY my heart, it hurts!!" She yelled and I could hear her voice crack. "Erica I love you. I really do. If you love Lee, then you need to stop coming here kissing me, touching all over me, and trying me to do things with you." She said and I wiped her eyes.
I sighed looking away.
"Listen I'm sorry okay? I didn't mean to make you feel this way. I don't want for our friendship to mess up or end on a bad note. Your a cool chick and I like hanging out with you. And your right, I need to change myself. I just .." I sighed shaking my head. "I just like the womanly company I guess," I said shrugging.
"Well you need to work things out with your real "woman" which is not me, figure things out. I'll always be here for you, but you can't keep doing this. I'm serious. Let this mark the day and forward, we will not do anything sexual or anything?"
I scrunched my face. "Uhhhh..."
"ERICA!" She said playfully hitting my leg and I laughed.
"I'm sorry but when I see a fine woman you know I -"
"ERICAAA!!" She yelled again. I laughed surrendering my hands up.
"Alright I quit, I quit." I said. "I'm sorry." I said rubbing her thigh and she blushed pushing my hand off her thigh.
"Aren't you suppose to be at home getting ready to meet Lee today?" She asked and I smacked my lips.
She didn't even have to say allat.
I got up. "Yeah.. walk me out." I said.
