Erica

After stopping at Wingstop, we were on our way to Briana and Bridget's house. Them two were finally married. I'm so happy and proud for them. They're cute together. They been married for 2 years now. Hopefully Briana don't fuck it up. I have faith she won't though.

It's crazy that they don't have any more yet though.

"Aye, can I crash at y'all crib till I you know, get on my feet?"

"Of course Erica, your family remember? Anything for family." Briana said. A small laugh sounded from each of us then it got back quiet.

I nodded bobbing my head to the music. I noticed that we started driving down the street where I use to live.

The houses still looked the same. The car stopped when I seen a familar gate closed. It had a giant I on it. Must be the family's last name. They had different cars in the yard and everything.

"She really sold my shit.." I said. I wiped the tears from my eyes. "My fucking house.. MY FUCKING PARENTS' HOUSE MAN? REALLY LEE?!" I cried punching the seat.

"ERICA, ERICA! IT'S OKAY." Bridget said looking back at me

"Okay? IT'S NOT OKAY! I GREW UP IN THIS HOUSE AND SHE FUCKING HAD THE NERVE TO DO THIS MAN! SHE KNEW HOW IMPORTANT THIS HOUSE WAS TO ME BRIDGET!" I yelled shaking my head.

Bridget climbed in the back and held me in her arms. I continued to cry and cry in her arms.

Briana

I watched as Erica was soaking Bridget's shirt. I knew this was going to happen this way. I told Lee don't do it. I know how important this home is to Erica.

I was around alot too. I was a good family friend. Until Erica's family started trippin' when they found out that Erica was interested in women.

"Listen Erica, if you want, we can go and see if they'll let you at least go inside and look around. That way you can get that feeling of the house one last time." I said.

She nodded. After wiping her face and everything, we walked inside the driveway. Luckily it was open.

I knocked on the door and stood back putting my arm around Bridget. Erica stood off to the side looking around. Seconds later, a woman opened the door.

"You can't be serious.." I heard Erica mumbled and she put her arms over her head.

"GoodMorning." She smiled.

"Good morning! I'm Bridget and this my girlfriend, Briana. This is our good friend Erica." She smiled at Erica. Erica just stood there with the same hurt, blank expression. I sighed.

"Listen this is her old house. It belongs to her parents, and they lended it down to her. She was incarcerated few years back and she just found out that were wife so --"

"Ex-Wife.." Erica corrected.

"Yeah .. Ex-Wife, had sold this lovely home to you. She's hurting right now as you can see, so we're here right now asking to just look around the house and for her to get that home feeling one last time." I asked. I took a deep breath after.

That felt good because I felt like I was breathing forever.

"Well of course! Come right in!" Erica walked in first. "Oh and I'm Gail by the way. Gail Landers." We all shook hands with her.

The house still looked the same.

"Mom have you seen Bella's sli -- Oh, I didn't know we were having company." A woman said coming downstairs. She was pretty. She smiled at all of us and when her eyes landed on Erica, they never escaped. Erica was too busy looking around to even pay attention to the girl.
