So Venus called me up yesterday and by the messages she sent me, it seemed really urgent. It was a conference call with Kristen.

To discuss day drinking plans.

I was really surprised when she asked me if I'd like to come to her house to partake in some alcohol drinking.

My first thought: what do I tell mom? Mom doesn't like last minute plans and rarely allows me to go for them and she had already gone to sleep. Then I decided not to tell her anything. I as it is stay back in college till 7 a lot of days so I can work my time around it.

Was that a wrong thing to do? Yes. Do I regret it? No. I want to take certain risks in life. I'm not saying that my parents are not letting me live my life at all but they don't understand what a life of today's teenager/young adult is. It's not the same as when they were small. They are a bit too careful. And I'm as it is 5 years late to everything.

The first lecture today was Law. We saw a documentary on Steve Jobs vs Bill Gates. Law is becoming one of my favourite lectures now. Infact, that's the only reason I'm motivated to come to college on a Monday morning.

The rest of the day was a big blur. We had a free lecture toward the end of college and Kristen, Paul and I used that time to play throwball with a cube Kristen made during her creative class. Great fun. I like playing throwball especially when I'm doing well.

At around 2:30PM, Kristen and I left college for Venus' place. We met her on the road itself. She was on her way to buy some booze. We both went along with her but stayed out of the vendor's view cause we both looks like 15 year old kids which might have hindered our plans of buying those bottles. After buying some snacks, we went to the house.

Venus had it all planned out I must say. She made us a (non alcoholic) kivi drink to begin with. She then poured some amount of wine and asked us to get acquainted with the taste of it. She then had her sangria mix ready to be added to the wine. In the end she even made Irish Coffee. I think she likes to play the hostess.

Getting to the drinks. The kivi one was good cause obviously, no alcohol and a sweet taste. The wine on its own didn't taste that well. Though it wasn't completely pathetic to a point where I couldn't take another sip tho but I kept making a weird face whenever I drank it.

But the sangria thoooooo! Uptil now I have more or less hated the taste of any drink I've had, cocktail or not. Venus' sangria is the first time I enjoyed drinking a drink. It probably had something to with the Sprite or just how sweet the drink was in general. I know a lot of people say that Sangria doesn't exactly count as an actual drink but I don't care. It's alcohol nonetheless.

I didn't have the Irish coffee cause my stomach was completely full by then. Plus I don't really enjoy coffee which isn't made in my house.

We spoke so much! Venus gave us some high level gossip, we spoke about our college, we all joked around A LOT, it was damn fun!

I was very comfortable around these two girls. Really comfortable. And I refuse to believe that the alcohol had something to do with it. I mean, it was just one drink. And that too a sangria. I surely can't be that lightweight. But yeah, I did find myself fooling around with Venus' brother's skateboard. And Venus did insist on me eating (half of) a whole fucking lemon. I WASN'T DRUNK.

Anyways, mom was being unusually curious about my whereabouts today. Later I got to know that Alex had got severe back pain and he was unable to move. I finished my drink and went home soon after that. I was really scared.

Alex was thankfully fine when I reached home. He infact asked me to get frankie for him.

Today, I hid something from my parents and I don't regret it. Hopefully this won't become a routine.
