Today I got to know something like a detention exists in college.

So Gurtley and I stayed back in college to work on our Marketing Presentation, which is the last step of our semester long marketing projet.

While we were working, two girls came to our classroom. One of them was here to meet one of the professors and the other... well.. she was on detention.

Wait what?! My college has detention? MY college has detention? My college is practically a haven for those who don't like following the rules cause literally no severe action is taken against them.

I had come across detention only in movies and maybe my school but never in an actual college. And this college was the last place I thought that would adopt the system. Which is why I found it extremely hilarious when she told me she was on detention.

Boy, this girl must have done some serious shit to land up in detention in a college like mine. And apparently today wasn't the first day she had got one. Wow, I really must stay away from this woman. Also, no, the room I was in wasn't the detention room. Since there is (or I thought there was) no concrete concept of detention, there was no specific room alloted to it. The people on detention apparently had to stay of a specific floor until 4pm (my college gets over at 1:30pm).

Anyways, the other girl with her seemed to be knowing what to do with her life. I heard that she had done about 8 internships. Like how?! When did she get the time for it? I'm the same age as her and I haven't found time to even do one.

After whatever experience she gained through her internships, she has now decided to start a start-up on her own.

She is planning on starting a healty-meal-box service, which is customisable according to the diet that the person wants to follow. She wants it to be like a tiffin box service for health conscious people. She has already done her market research for the same with some positive results which is exactly what she wanted to discuss with the entrepreneurship professor, who is mentoring her on her venture.

Well, I'd like to wish her all the best for her project.

If there is any positive thing in staying back after college, it's that you get to know a lot of beef going on. So the people who go for inter-collegiate fests rarely attend lectures but apparently come to college only to practice. I had heard that one of those girls and the detention girl had a boy problem among them and today Gurtley and I were there to witness some of that friction.

Honestly, I don't really give a shit about such gossip but witnessing such things is always an interesting break from all the work that we have to do.
