I may or may not have mentioned it before but we have a 3 step Marketing Project (Competition) wherein we need to present a Marketing plan for a product or service that is,
a) Not present in my country
b) Not tech based
The first step was to get a 1 page report approved and we got that done. Now the next step was to make a detailed report. And we had to submit it today.
We are a team of three and it was my job to compile the report, make it presentable and then submit it. Gurtley and the third member had given me their information overtime but I still had to complete mine. Besides the work given by the third member was not up to the mark so I had to re-do that as well.
It seemed like an easy job but boy was it tedious. I started work right after college as usual and Gurtley accompanied me for some time. But then she had to leave and I was left all alone trying to complete the report. And it took me SO LONG to get it done. I was the only student on the floor and probably in college but I have absolutely no problem with that. But that makes me wonder, how the hell were the other students done with report and with so much ease?!
Then I realised that most of the students do not stick to the deadlines anyway so they get extra time to get their shit done. It's totally unfair if you ask me. The other students are not exactly dumb, they can get their way through assignments but they really need to abide by the rules. And the management should make sure that they do so. Otherwise sincere people like my friend circle and me feel discouraged from giving our best.
Anyways, 3 hours later, I finally got done with the our 20+ page report, got it printed and submitted it. Well, the professor who I had to submit to was long gone but I knew where to keep it so I did.
