Today was such a good day!
College went like it normally does. My ego got challenged during Finance when I wasn't able to understand one sum so I dedicated part of my lunch time to solve that sum anyhow and succeded. Kristen and I had a good time because our classes were combined. Paul and I had a good meme time during the last lecture when our classes were combined.
Right after college, I accompanied Kristen to the south side. She had to go there for her internship while I had some other plans.
I have taken up this social work/ internship for which I had to find out various types of packaging and their prices (I'll explain the internship some other day). So I met up with two other girls from college on the way and we went to the famous wholesale market of the city. I had heard quite a lot about it but had never been there.
The place is a maze! There are so many shops in a small lane and so many people to tackle. Some places legit didn't have space to walk. But I loved the experience. We first went to all packaging shops and noted the prices of the prospective packaging and then went looking for brownie cases and plastic boxes. The market had everything from cutlery to beauty products to fabrics to furniture to clothes to chocolates to fruits to veges to decor to bags.... So many things! I might go to the place again when I have a list of things to buy.
After having fresh lime soda, we left for home. On the way I picked up two shoe laces cause why not.
When I boarded the train, I got a notification from the V app (Korean) signifying that the Seoul Music Awards was streaming live and I internally screamed. Yaaaaasssss!
This is how I watched my first ever Korean Awards show. And you bet your ass I watched it till the end. I wanted to see BTS perform and get awards. I got to see performances from groups such as BlackPink and Got7. Through this Award show I finally figured out the name and artist of the song that I had been dying to know about since I heard it in a "BTS during awards show's" video (Some by Bolbbalgan4).
Of course my mom forced me to change my clothes when Bang Si-hyuk PD was accepting his award. Of course the waxing lady had to come before BTS' performance. I was soooooo annoyed during both of these instances. But I got to watch the ending of DNA so that was cool. AND AND AND I GOT TO WITNESS BTS WINNING THE DAESANGGGGGGGGGGG!
I AM INCREDIBLY HAPPY FOR THEM! CONGRATULATIONS BANGTAN SONYEONDAN! YOU DESERVE THAT TROPHY AND EVERY MOMENT SPENT ON THAT STAGE! BTS FIGHTING!
