Chapter 56:
"How many times do I have to tell you that I have no time for this?!" Marienela said as she walk with irritation towards another store, "and even if I do, I wouldn't want to spend it with you!"
"Well I guess that leaves me with no choice but to follow you around until you're willing to talk to me," Nakangising sagot naman ni Mike.
Sobrang laki ng tuwa ni Mike na hindi na niya kailangan na ipahanap si Marienela, dahil nagkasalubong na sila sa mall. Tadhana nga naman.
She sighed and inwardly groaned before she turned to look at Mike with a bored expression, "What is it that you want?"
"Aside from you, there are things that I want to ask you." He gave her a naughty grin.
He was amused that Marienela never flinch with his attempts of flirting with her, not even a slightest hint that he was affecting her. But before he flirts, he wants to know who he's dealing with, kaya naman ito siya at walang tigil sa kakahabol dito nang makita niya na ito para lang mapilit na makipagusap sakanya. He was curious right after he and Ken had that convesation.
"And what do I get in return?" She said, weighing herself if she's going to agree with it or not.
He shrugged, "Me?" he asked unsure of what he offered.
She faked a scoff, "Oh please, not even thrilled with what you're offering." She rolled her eyes and continued to search the rack of clothes inside the store she's in.
"Then, what is it that you want in return?" He asked desperately as he was slowly losing is patience towards their talk.
"Hmm," she paused while thinking of something good that will benefit her out of their deal, "how 'bout you pay for what I'll get from this store?"
"Yun lang?" Di makapaniwalang tanong ni Mike dito, at tumango naman ito sakanya. "Are you sure?" tumango ulit ito sakanya. "Can I have your word for it?"
"Oh come on!" She said, displeased that the guy in front of her doesn't believe in her words, "I'm a bitch with schemes, but I don't do bluff when it comes to deals."
"A'right, you go get what you want, I'll be right behind you just tell me when you're done and I'll pay for it." he said, and she beamingly smiled at him. "Just make sure that after this, you'll come with me and we'll talk."
'Langya napapasabak ako ng english sa isang to.' Sabi niya sa sarili niya. Hindi din naman kasi niya maintindihan kung bakit ba sobra ang pagnanais niyang makilala ng mas malalim si Marienela. Sa sobrang busy niya nga sa kakahanap dito ay hindi na siya makalabas para makipagdate sa ibang babae. Kinakalawang na tuloy siya sa mga galawan niya.
