New mentor?

A couple of days had passed and emily and Mia where on the road to recovery, they still weren't quite ready to train yet but they were starting to walk around the shiba house again and go out with the boys to get shopping. They were both just happy to get back on their feet.

It was 3 in the afternoon on Sunday, and mike, Kevin, Mia, Emily and Antonio where in the garden watching their zords play on the grass while sipping on their smoothies. It was a nice sunny day outside and the rangers where talking full advantage.

Suddenly mentor came out with some bags as Jayden cane chasing after him.

" mentor what are you doing! Come back!" Jayden shouted chasing after mentor as everyone turned round shocked to hear mentor and Jayden arguing.

" Jayden just let me go! I need to train, you guys are better off without me!" Mentor replies back as everyone scared at him with worried eyes, not believing that he's going.

Mike walk up to him and looks at him straight in the eye, " Mentor go inside we will talk about this."

" mike, I just need some time, I'll be back," mentor turned around and looked at Jayden, " jayden, train a good team. Your taking my place."

Jayden shook his head as he felt tears fill up in his eyes, he never imagined life without Mentor. Mentor was basically a dad to mentor, brought him from the ground up, trained him to the best of his ability and more. Jayden loved the others, they were his best friends where were becoming family but Mentor is different, he's Jayden's only family left.

" mentor please.." Jayden whisper as mentor turned his head to the others looked at him shocked, looking and Emily and mias injuries, looking at Kevin's eyes which were in fear.

" I'll see you all soon, Jayden will look after you. He will be able to do more that I ever can now," he sighed as he walked out the gates leaving everyone speechless.

" did mentor just leave ?" Emily whisper as a tear dropped from her eye, when mike saw the tear dropped he rushed to Emily and put his arm around her and brought her closer being careful not to hurt her more.

" Jayden, what are we going to do?" Mia asked as Jayden didn't say a word and went inside, he needed to think.

" well I need to go and shower I haven't showered since our accident," Emily said slipping out of mikes arms and going inside, she was going to struggle to handle things now that mentors not here.

No one say a word, mike just watched his girl friend slide through the doors not making a single sound as his heart melted, knowing she will be hurting. As it was Emily that was the least experienced of the rangers after her sister became ill.

" let's just all go and relax, we will discuss things later," Mia said softly walking into the Sheba house with Kevin quickly following his as mike hesitated tempted to go and look for mentor but went in to the Sheba house anyway, he knew he had to be there for the others.

It was much later in the evening now and Jayden couldn't concentrate on anything while knowing that mentor was out there, he was attempting to work on his symbol power knowing that mentor was not going to be gone for a while he knew he had to step up, take on the responsibilities on of being a good mentor for him team.

Jayden slammed his hands onto his desk as it shook and a couple items fell off as something on the floor caught his eye as he found his old photo book, full of pictures when he was younger. Growing up Jayden didn't have a lot of friends, he only had Antonio and mentor. Pictures where very sentimental to him, he loves looking back on old photo albums, he wanted to make one for the rest of the team once they had finally defeated the nylock. He had bought the photo albums when they had first started to become like one big family, but just now he was so focused on finding mentor, he couldn't take his mind off him.

Jayden shook his head in attempt to clear his thought as he called out to the others.

" right time for a meeting, meet me at the table in 10 minutes!" He shouted.

Jayden, mike, Kevin, Emily and Mia sat around the table while Antonio went to go make them dinner, Antonio decided to give them some space. He adored mentor, but he wasn't meant to be part of the team in the first place so he decided to give the rangers some time to talk about things.

" what are we going to do Jayden?" Kevin asked as all eyes turned to Jayden as he looked at each and every one of the samurai rangers.

" although we need to focus on the nylock, family is so important so I'm going to split us up," Jayden said, " Antonio get over here!" He shouted as Antonio cane running through from the kitchen.

" what's up?"he said.

" as I was just saying, fighting the nylocks are our main priority but right we need mentor back. This house isn't complete without him, now what I'm about to say, please do not take offensive to but in case we have a nylock attack we need our stronger rangers here, so me, Kevin, mike and Mia are going to stay here while Antonio and Emily are going to find mentor and bring him back," Jayden said as Emily wished the ground would just swallow her up, she knew she wasn't a good ranger compared to everyone else but she hated it being talked about.

Mia looked at her little sister with sorry eyes as she saw Emily obviously feeling uncomfortable as she was looking as the ground.

" how about me and Emily go? You boys can surely handle yourselves?" Mia smiled as she got up and rubbed Emily's shoulders waiting for Jayden to give the nod of agreement. He knew they girls were strong together.

" come on em, get ready and we will leave in the next hour," Mia smiled trying to change Emily's mood as she left the table and walked through to her room.

" just keep us updated on what's going on while you girls are out, and if anything out of the ordinary happens, and I mean anything you get in touch with us straight away," mike said on the behalf of the boys to Emily as he felt his body go stiff as The thought went through his head of something bad happening to his girlfriend again.

" don't worry mike... we will be okay," she whispered not making eyes contact with anything but the floor.
