okokok long ass author's note coming right up here please stay tuned it's important to the one-shot.

so, on tuesday, i went to see bts in london and earlier during rehearsals, jungkook had injured his heel stretching (he fell into a table or something like that idk, trust him to do that) and he wasn't able to dance during the concert.

he wasn't seriously injured, but he was sitting throughout the performance and during the encore they all made speeches and jungkook started saying how he was really ashamed of himself for letting something like that happen and he said he felt like he'd let us all down and he started crying and i started crying and my friends started crying and it was all a big crying mess.

so rainbowunicornnnn gave me the idea to write a one-shot of after the show because he was still really upset after the show was over and i love her for this.

so, without further ado:

After BTS' very first concert in the UK, it was an understatement to say that they were tired. They were absolutely exhausted.

The energy at the arena had been amazing, just as they had said to the tens of thousands of fans that night, and no one could really blame them for getting excited and jumping around a little bit.

All except for Jungkook.

Through no fault of his own, he ended up injuring his heel during rehearsals that day, and he was beating himself up about it before the actual concert. With that plus the unending support from the fans during the concert chanting his name during Euphoria, and the sight of his hyungs running around and having a good time, Jungkook felt like he'd let everyone down.

Granted, there were always at least two other members with him where he sat during their group performances, and Namjoon and Hoseok had practically been babying him throughout the whole show, but he really did feel as if he could've given a lot more to his fans if he hadn't injured himself.

The encore was the worst part.

He just started crying because he felt so worthless at that moment, and he really didn't understand why his fans weren't angry with him. The shame he felt in himself was enough to drive him mad, and when his hyungs began hugging and comforting him, all he wanted to do was be little and curl up into their arms.

The show wasn't over much long after that, and Seokjin helped Jungkook off stage, ruffling his hair reassuringly as the maknae sniffled. Normally when they booked hotels, Jungkook would get a room to himself while the others shared with one another.

But, since Jungkook was injured, Namjoon offered - as the leader - to share a room with their maknae during their stay in London just to make sure he was safe and not feeling lonely, especially if he was injured.

As soon as the two arrived at their hotel room, Namjoon opened his arms up for his baby, and Jungkook let himself cry hard into the leader's chest.

"Come on, sweetheart, let's get you bathed and comfy, yeah?" He suggested, rubbing Jungkook's arms as the two pulled away. "Would you like me to call the others round, baby?"

Jungkook nodded sadly, his eyes and face red as he rubbed them.

"Come on then, baby, let's go," Namjoon said softly, leading Jungkook to the bathroom where he helped him undress and started to bathe him.
