"Daddy! Daddy!" Jimin squealed, running into the younger male's bedroom.
"Yes, baby?" Taehyung looked up from his laptop so he could smile at Jimin, helping the little into his lap when he hobbled over to the bed.
"Will Daddy put dis on me, pwease?" The blonde asked, holding up a bottle of baby pink nail varnish for Taehyung to see.
At first, the younger of the two must've looked confused, because the smile on Jimin's face disappeared, and when he noticed, Taehyung smiled at him, taking the small bottle from his baby's small hands.
"Of course, baby boy," he ran a hand down Jimin's arm, patting his bottom as a way of telling him to hop off for a minute. "Shall we do it in the playroom, bubby?"
Jimin nodded happily, taking Taehyung by the hand and leading him to the playroom, where the little pink table was already set up from Jimin's colouring hour yesterday.
Taehyung could see that Jimin already had the bottle of transparent base coating on the table as well, and he couldn't help but find Jimin's eagerness to get started cute.
"Have you been wanting to do this for a while now, babykins?" Taehyung asked, and Jimin nodded shyly. "Why didn't you tell me, baby? We could've done this a long time ago."
"Because nail stuff is for girls and Minnie is a boy," he answered timidly, and Taehyung pulled Jimin down into his lap on the floor.
"That doesn't matter, honey. If you want to wear nail polish then you can, you know Daddy won't judge you," he reassured. "Daddy will even wear some if it makes you feel better, Minnie."
"Really, Daddy?" The little asked hopefully, and Taehyung nodded. "Can Minnie put Daddy's on?"
"Definitely, baby boy," he grinned and kissed his baby's chubby cheek before grabbing the base coat from across the table. "Does Minnie want Daddy to do his nails first or does Minnie want to do Daddy's?"
"I do Daddy's!" Jimin exclaimed, and made grabby hands for the bottle in his caregiver's hand. "Please?"
"Good boy," Taehyung praised softly, letting Jimin have the bottle.
"Daddy's nails are really pretty," Jimin commented harmlessly as he carefully brushed the clear layer over Taehyung's nails.
"Thank you, darling," the younger smiled as he watched his baby work, eyebrows furrowed into an adorable little pout on his soft face.
Soon enough, both Taehyung and Jimin's nails were pretty and painted pink, and Taehyung couldn't stop smiling at how happy Jimin was with them.
"Daddy, they're so pretty, thank you!" He squealed, crawling into Taehyung's lap and hugging him tightly.
"You're welcome, princess," the latter replied, kissing Jimin's temple. "If you ever want anything, don't be afraid to ask Daddy for it, baby. He wouldn't want his baby to be unhappy, ok?"
"Ok, Daddy," Jimin answered contentedly, cuddling up to Taehyung's chest. "Daddy's the best ever."
