bunny hybrid!jungkook/adult!taehyung

ok so this is a new idea i came up with and jk isn't actually a little yet so that's why i didn't add his mental age because he doesn't have one. basically, this will probably be a mini-series in this book of a smol hybrid jungkook finding his place with his new owner taehyung and just cute times with them, so enjoy :)

In a society where hybrids were seen as beneath everybody else, Taehyung was so glad he was raised the way he was.

Hybrids weren't really rare in the world, as around forty percent of the world's population were hybrids, and most people had one (or multiple), but they were mainly used for the wrong reasons.

People saw them as objects, servants, toys, whatever you could degrade a person to. And all because ninety percent of hybrids were prey. People forgot about the ten percent of hybrids who were predators, like Taehyung's mother.

Being raised by a hybrid mother and a human father who actually respected her, Taehyung saw a lot of things wrong with the world, and he was glad that he had the opportunity to see society's flaws, because they had made him a better - more respectful - person.

Granted, Taehyung wasn't particularly interested in adopting a hybrid for himself. He wasn't opposed to the idea, just didn't think he would be able to look after one properly due to his line of work.

He was successful, a well-known business owner, and he was often required to go on long business trips or lock himself in his office for hours on end just so he could meet deadlines. And with a hybrid to look after, Taehyung felt like that hybrid would just be better off with someone else.

Taehyung knew a lot about hybrids, though, considering he didn't have one of his own.

His best friend, Hoseok, had been looking at hybrids for a few months, often going down to the adoption centre to browse what they had on offer, and Taehyung had heard many snippets and facts about hybrids that would come in handy for Hoseok.

Taehyung had already drawn his own conclusion that hybrids of the prey agenda were more on the submissive side due to their biological nature and just how he'd seen people treat them in public. That was another reason why he wouldn't be able to look after one - since they required a lot of attention and care - and Taehyung just didn't have the time for that.

But he knew Hosoek would make a great owner, as he was just like Taehyung and believed that everyone - even hybrids - in society was equal.

He'd found one he'd liked - a little kitten hybrid named Jimin - who Hoseok had described as "too cute to leave at the adoption centre" and Taehyung had offered to go down to the centre to pick Jimin up with him since he had the day off from work and it had been a long time since he'd spent time with Hoseok.

"Good afternoon!" The lady behind the counter greeted as Taehyung and Hoseok walked in. "Are you here to browse or are you adopting today?"

"I'm adopting," Hoseok answered, grinning. "He's just here with me."

Hoseok was pointing at Taehyung, but the younger male was too preoccupied taking in his surroundings to even notice.

He'd never been to the hybrid adoption centre before, the idea never really crossing his mind, and now that he was here, he felt an odd sense of warmth and familiarity fill his chest.

The reception area itself wasn't too big. The walls were painted a light shade of blue and the carpet was of a darker shade of blue with yellow polkadots. There was a door opposite to the reception desk that read "playroom" in big bold letters, and Taehyung found himself peeking through the porthole window into the larger room.
