For once in a long time, the dorm was silent. And Hoseok couldn't have been more thankful for that.

Sure, sharing a dorm with six other grown men was a Hell of a lot of fun most of the time, but there were rarely ever any times where any member would have the entire dorm to themselves.

Granted, that was exactly what Hoseok was going through now with Yoongi being in his bedroom colouring, but the older male still felt like he had the dorm to himself.

Yoongi had kept himself cooped up in his bedroom near enough all day, the other five members out to record their parts of the 'Boy With Luv' music video. Since the two rappers had already recorded their parts in their new album's title track, their manager decided to leave them be, leaving the pair with the day off.

Hoseok had only seen Yoongi a total of twice in the whole day, and it was already four in the afternoon - once when they woke up, and again when he'd gone to check up on the little and make sure he wasn't feeling hungry.

He knew Yoongi was little because if he wasn't, the two would be watching Netflix right now and commentating over stupid decisions made by the characters in the show they would be watching.

Hoseok tried not to let it get to him - the complete lack of everything Yoongi was showing him - chalking it up to being anxiety formed from only recently coming out as a little and the fear of rejection.

But Yoongi seemed to be acting fine with everybody else. Just yesterday, he let Namjoon sit him on his lap and feed him his pudding since he was feeling too little to do it himself. But Hoseok guessed that the others seemed like ideal caregivers for Yoongi, and with six people available to him, it was only natural that Hoseok would be left out.

The only thing was that Yoongi was his best friend, even before he confessed to being a little two weeks ago. And even when he was big, Yoongi would do anything to avoid spending time with Hoseok. He would mess up during choreography, eat chocolate right before a voice recording just so he could spend more time away from his 'best friend'.

Hoseok didn't even know if Yoongi saw him as his best friend.

Before he could delve deeper into the negative side of his emotions, the sound of a door opening and closing softly disrupted Hoseok from his thoughts, and he looked over the back of the couch to see Yoongi standing outside his bedroom door, mint green sweater slipping over his shoulder and a piece of paper in his hands.

He was looking down at the floor in what Hoseok could see as shame, and he refused to look up or meet Hoseok's gaze.

"What's the matter, sweetheart?" Hoseok asked anyway despite the burning feeling of betrayal settling in his chest. He could sense Yoongi was upset and didn't want to make things worse. "What have you got there?"

Yoongi looked up hesitantly, and Hoseok smiled at him reassuringly. The little padded over to the older male, and Hoseok lifted him up onto his lap, pulling the collar of Yoongi's sweater up his shoulder again and wrapping his arms around the older boy's waist slowly, interlocking his own fingers together at Yoongi's hip.

This was practically the first time Hoseok had even interacted with little Yoongi, but he had seen the others do it enough times to know roughly what to do.

"'S a drawing," Yoongi answered quietly, and Hoseok looked down at the piece of paper in Yoongi's hands. "I was really meanie to 'Seokie so I made him drawing."

Hoseok carefully took the drawing from Yoongi's hands, being cautious as to not crease it in any way. It was a simple drawing, but Hoseok could tell that Yoongi had put a lot of effort into it, colouring everything as neatly as he possibly could.

It consisted of himself and Yoongi holding hands under a beautiful sunny sky with rainbows and clouds and- was that a unicorn?

"This is lovely, darling, thank you," Hoseok smiled down at Yoongi, and decided against kissing his forehead.

"'M sorry, 'Seokie," Yoongi replied feebly, playing with the cuffs off his sweater nervously, refusing to look up at Hoseok because of the shame he felt.

"For what, Yoonie?" The older pressed gently, not wanting Yoongi to feel pressured or rushed.

"For ignoring 'Seokie and not bein' good friend," the little answered, finally looking up at the other. "Yoonie was just scared that 'Seokie wouldn't want to be his friend anymore because he's little an' he didn't want things to be awkward with 'Seokie because he really likes 'Seokie."

Hoseok felt a fond smile find its way onto his face as he decided against not kissing Yoongi's forehead, leaning down to press his lips to the skin softly.

"Honey, 'Seokie would never treat his Yoonie differently or think he was weird because 'Seokie really likes Yoonie too," he reassured. "And don't worry, angel, 'Seokie isn't angry with Yoonie. Shall we put this beautiful drawing on the fridge and you can show the others when they get back?"

Yoongi nodded happily, hopping off of Hoseok's lap and grabbing the younger male's hand to pull him up off of the couch and drag him into the kitchen.

Hoseok couldn't help but smile at finally getting his best friend back, and thought he was even cuter now than before now that he was like this.
