Jungkook was - overall - a good little.

Sure, he had his days where he would get moody and throw tantrums with Namjoon, but he would always go running up to his Daddy within five minutes of doing something wrong crying and begging for his forgiveness.

And Namjoon just had to give it to him, since Jungkook was never badly behaved for no reason, and Namjoon always made it his first priority to find out why he was acting up and what he could do to help.

Most of the time, Jungkook just wanted to be loved, and Namjoon did love him - to the moon and back - and sometimes he got himself into such a state over silly things. But there were certain trigger points for Jungkook that would 'set him off', as Namjoon liked to call it.

Whether it be something from his past or something happening in the present, Namjoon had learned how to deal with Jungkook's moments, and he took pride in the fact that he was the one Jungkook felt the most safe around, as Jungkook's trust was something that wasn't normally earned easily.

Spread out on the sofa with his laptop in his lap, Namjoon pushed his glasses further up the bridge of his nose as he continued to write his article.

Being a journalist was definitely difficult sometimes, but since Namjoon never had a specific work schedule, he was able to stay at home whenever Jungkook needed him to.

And right now, the little was sitting on the floor quietly playing with his Lego bricks. The day had ran smoothly so far, with Jungkook waking up feeling little and Namjoon being there for the whole day with - seemingly - no work to do.

That was until he got an e-mail from his boss about a report that had to be written by tomorrow, and Jungkook didn't mind at all because he knew Namjoon would still be at the house, just a bit busy for a few hours.

And he was perfectly ok with playing on his own for a while until, all of a sudden, he was hit with a sudden memory, something he'd thought he'd forgotten but apparently not.

Jungkook's whole body started shaking as he turned to look at Namjoon, who was still working away busily.

"D-Daddy-" the little choked on his words, and Namjoon's head whipped around to look at his baby so fast he almost got whiplash.

Namjoon was up and off of the sofa within seconds, sitting down on the floor in front of Jungkook and pulling him onto his lap.

"Hey, baby, shh~" he cooed as he felt Jungkook's body temperature drop. "Daddy's here, baby, look at me."

Jungkook did as he was told, pupils shaking as he looked into Namjoon's brown eyes.

"Good boy, you're doing so well," Namjoon praised, taking Jungkook's cold hands into his own and running his thumbs over his baby's knuckles. "Such a good baby, aren't you? Daddy loves you so much."

When things like these happened to Jungkook, all Namjoon could do was wait them out and get Jungkook through it.

"Shh~" Namjoon whispered, rocking the two of them back and forth in his lap as to calm Jungkook down.

Jungkook's shaking soon ceased to exist, and his body was slowly heating up again.

"'M sowwy, Daddy," the little apologised shyly, and Namjoon tipped his chin up with his index finger.

"No, no, baby. No apologies," he said softly, and Jungkook pouted slightly. "You did so well this time, Kookie. Daddy's so proud of you."
