Thank you all for being so patient!
┗━━━━━━༻❁༺━━━━━━┛"Time to go! Get dressed formally quickly!" Emma yelled. She pulled out her own bag and searched for something formal to wear, pulling out a package that had been stuffed inside without her knowing.
The brunette stared at the brown covering of the package. Is was professionally wrapped, and a small smiley face was drawn on the corner. Emma smiled, her mind immediately thinking to the headmaster. Surely he was the one to put the package inside but when did he have the Chance? More questions then answers here, unlike the math classes at school.
Cerfully unwrapping the wrapper, Emma was greeted with a box, closed with a small but if tape. Tearing off the sticky stuff, she opened the box, revealing a beautiful black dress. The dress went down to her shins, the girl not having to worry about short skirts for once in her life. The dress was adorned in beautiful black gems and seemed to sparkle depending on the lighting.
Emma scanned the room, quickly hurrying to the bathroom to change. She first took off her clean clothes and saw the dried blood from earlier that day. The girl turned on the shower, locking the bathroom door just in case. Stepping into the warm water, Emma quickly scrubbed the dry blood off and washed herself, making sure to look and smell nice.
The girl practiacally hopped out of the shower, turning off the water just before She did. Quickly drying herself off, She slipped on the clothing, and surprisingly it was soft and comfortable. The brunette brushed her hair, trying to get all of the dripping water out. She searched for a hairdryer, but to her disappointment there was none.
Emma looked in the mirror, her small and skinny frame making her look like a child, her grey eyes stared back at her with no emotion, and for a bit Emma played with her mind, thinking of her eyes as different colours.
Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, pink, black, white, Brown. Any colour would immediately make her more powerful, make her a normal citizen instead of a targeted vessel for one of the elites disposal. She adjusted her necklace, the sliver chain of the metal beggining to rust. Yet, the dragon remained the same, a polished metal that didn't seem to wear down, even after so many battles.
The girl wondered how long she had ignored her necklace, the beautiful piece tucked away under her shirt, or just forgotten around her neck in general. She clutched the necklace and smiled, the necklace now showing with the low cut of the dress. The girl cleaned up the bathroom and picked up her clothes, plopping the clothing back into her bag for later.
Her wet hair had to be delt with, so she quickly out it up in a ponytail, hoping it looked good enough.
David finally came out of his room, although the tie for his tuxedo was still undone. He stared at Emma with confusion, then back to his tie.
"I think someone finally made the impossible." David joked. The two laughed at the pathetic joke, but it was the only real relief from all of the tension. Emma walked closer to David, her hands gracefully grabbing his tie. She began to repeat the steps she saw on the internet, making sure the tie was nice and tight enough so it didn't become undone.
"There you are." Once finished, she lifted the final piece and tightened it to David's neck, her hands gently tickling David's skin. He shivered, the contact nice from the girls soft skin, or was that all the testosterone speaking?
"Thank you" He said, smiling at Emma. The girl just played with her wet hair, water sometimes dripping from it.
"It was no big deal." The two smiled at each other, and David put his hands on Emma's shoulders, warmth building where the two were touching. Emma stared at David and he slowly turned Emma around, making her face the other way.
The two were blushing, but David still helped Emma effortlessly. He took out the hair tie and let the girls wet hair flop onto her back. Emma shivered, the cold from her hair coming to a shock.
David began running his hands through her hair, his eye's glowing blue. Water began to drain out of the brown hair, and David was in a trance, the scent of the strawberry in Emma's hair making him wish to spend more time just doing simple things.
When he was done, Emma's hair was smooth and silky, perfect for the dinner. The girl turned aound and hugged the blue haired male, his focus now lost. He almost dropped the water in his hands, but He was able to maintain spilling it everywhere.
The clock chimed once, and the two jumped, their hugging sesion over as quick as it started.
"Shit, we gotta go." Emma sped out of the room, making sure to slip on her black flats before leaving. David was close behind, running down the halls and trying to navigate their ways to the dining room.
When the two made it out of the long. Blue hallway, they ran into a familliar face.
"Yo let's go! We can't be any later!" Bailey shouted while bursting out of his own brown and green hallway. The three ran through the halls without hesitation, Emma's eyes scanning the hallways ahead for any other people.
Bailey made a sudden turn and David stumbled, almost hitting a wall, but Emma grabbed his nice shirt and yanked him back on corse. Bailey, Emma and David turned a few more hallways, passing a few more people waking to the dinner. The three began to slow down, The scent of food filling their noses.
A woman with a dirty apron Walked up to individual people, handing them a piece of paper with a number written on it. David was handed one, then Emma, then Bailey. The woman gave Emma a strange look, then took the brunettes hand, dragging her away from David, away from safety.
