The sun was covered by clouds now, rain threatening to pour over the land that seemed desolate of life. The white dragon, after emerging from its thousand year sleep, had decided to explain what was to happen to its chosens previous companions, and it had learned that its previous chosens name was Emma.
"After she touched you, she was gone, so you're going to have to tell us where she is." Noah said. The black dragon behind him, Spirit, was growling with his rider despite being smaller than the white dragon. As for the grey dragon sitting next to them, Comet was more calm and collected, but the feelings of loss and sorrow did not go unoticed by the white dragon.
"I am the dragon of magic, the giver of the powers that run though your veins. As for your friend, she was my chosen, the one who was given the key to awaken me, the one immune to the curse." Looking straight into the shadow mages eyes, the dragon lowered his head to eye level with the human. "She is now the reason why you will all live through your life, for she awoke me."
The water mage spoke, his voice calm and steady. "So your chosen, will we ever see her again? After this is all over?"
The white dragon had never thought of this, after all, it had known that the humans would fall victim to the curse, he knew that he would be called to fix it if the curse ever got out of hand.
"I will have to be the bearer of bad news and say no, Emma was a holder of a fragment of my soul, and as a chosen she also had her own soul with mine, connecting us. Its like your and your own dragon, except magic wasn't a factor in our bond." The white dragon said.
"What! No! Emma is her own person! Give her back!" Jasmine shouted, running over to the dragons leg. She stared him up with piercing yellow eyes filled with anger and saddness, something the dragon could not take away.
"I'm afraid I cannot. Please forgive me small one."
"I am not small!" Jasmine screeched. The white dragon chuckled a bit, using his giant claw to move her over a bit. Turning to Comet, who had been awfully silent, he began to speak to the silver dragon.
"Comet, I believe you have an idea of what I need to do, correct?" He asked. Comet didn't turn to look at him, instead he nodded with dull eyes.
"I believe you need help getting to Latharius, right?" Aqua interjected. The white dragon turned his head to acknowledged the small blue dragon who had spoken, her light blue eyes shining with determination. "Then we could help you."
"Your help would be greatly appreciated." He replied.
"Wait a minute, before be go anywhere, what is your name? Surley you have been given one at some point." Peter had decided to make himself known to the conversation, blonde hair bouncing in the small breeze that flew by. The white dragon had scented reborns close by, and his eyes had slited in response.
"My name?" He had been given one when he had first visited Emma in her sleep. It was the first and only time they had seen each other, and even with the short dream they shared, the little girl he once visited had given him a name.
"My name is Zevar."

They were all flying again towards the last remaining place the reborns hadn't managed to take over yet, back to where the story had begun. The central academy seemed darker then when they had last seen it, however the wall protecting the building seemed to be holding up well, considering that there was reborns crawling all over the ground on the outside.
Latharius had given a full force as promised, and most of his army was now perched outside of the wall, ready to strike at their masters command. Their leader would be coming today for the right that would decide the world's fate, and Zevar was going to be their to meet him with his own army of dragons and mages.
