Emma searched for Aqua in the endless screams of meantally panicking dragons. It was a difficult task when the light blue Dragon wasn't focused on panicking like most human's would, but was rather trying to find a way out.

The dragons that belonged with the competitors were still cooped up in the stables when the rumbling began, and because everyone left to find exits in the commotion, no one was smart enough to let the dragons out of the stables. Their cries of help had echoed all throughout the building, but only Emma had the guts to go deeper in the academy. Skidding to a halt, Emma looked at the small but heavy steel doors separating dragons and humans. The cries  were ear piercing, and it took a few pieces of cloth in the ears to Male sure the girl didn't turn back.

The girl opened the door, instantly recognizing the first small room with observation glass. Dragons were panicking and calling out to their riders, begging them to come and save them.

But nobody came

Dragons running all over the floor and clawing at the stone walls, hoping to break free, but the control panel was on the other side of the room, surrounded in a protected cage just in case.

Emma stepped out of the room, ready to dash and doge any dragons that may try and squish her with their large feet. Some dragons picked up on the girl and stopped, but many were too fear driven to even acknowledge the girl, still trying to find a way out of the hell hole. The roof of the building was handling blows too, but sounds from the outside were faintly echoing off to the other side. Something was here.

Emma ran, keeping an eye out for any incoming obstacles that might try and kill her, but most dragons were focused on one wall, working together to scrape away one bit of the wall away at a time. That's when a dark green dragon decided to nip at another, the bright grey dragon not having any of the dragons harsh treatment. The grey dragon bit the green dragons leg, enraging the dragon and causing a worse commotion.

The green dragon locked its jaws on the grey dragons horns, the smaller grey dragon swung around in a flurry of movements. The green dragon let the smaller dragon go, the body flying right towards Emma. The girl had a split second to think before taking the shortest route to safety, her body stiffening just in case she got hit badly. The dragon came at full force, slamming right into the wall and cracking the heavy wooden polls of the stables.

Emma wasn't there though, instead, she was in the claws of a familiar and clam blue dragon. The scaly creature flew towards the control center, trying her best not to get hit but other dragons. Emma watched as the dragons eyes up the blue dragon, but stopped when they spotted Emma.

The girl was frightened by the actions of these dragons, although desperation made most crazy.

"That's enough!" The girl shouted in their minds. The sound was so loud that it hurt, echoing in the dragons ears as they stopped scrambling about. The dragons looked at the girl, their eyes flashing in recognition. Emma turned away, entering the small room with many levers. She put her arm out to rest on all of them, using a fast jerking motion to flip the levers to the other side. Doors flew open, the sounds of old creaking metal springing open. Dragons hesitated for a moment, but after Emma gave a nod, they flew out, faster then light.

Aqua sat just outside the control room, waiting patently but anxiously for Emma. The girl ran out and was about to climb on Aqua when she noticed her restlessness.

"Is this about David?" Emma asked Aqua, her hand placed gently on her hide for some comfort.

"Yes, hes still on the second top floor in the healing room. He's hiding at the moment like I asked him to, but those creatures, they're al, over the building and ready to break in." Aqua said in a worried mental voice. Emma looked up and listened to the creatures running around the building, their calls like laughter. Emma's breath hitched as she ran back into the controlled room, pulling back each and every lever that was pulled back. The doors screeched before slowly moving closed, the sound bound to attract the attention of the creatures.

"You need to meet me at the top floor where David is. Keep yourself safe and unscathed until then. If you see the headmaster I need you to assist him until were ready. Please." The girl shooed the dragon. Out of the slow closing doors, the creatures calls getting louder. The dragon flew out quickly, a hellish creature jumping and just barely missing its target, hitting the ground with a crunching noise. Emma shot across the room with a panicked run.

The creatures claimed the doors and into the building, their different coloured eyes shining for a new victim. Emma didn't have time to look back, pushing herself faster as her muscles burned. The creatures quickly took notice to the running girl and took pursuit, chasing her down in long bounds.

Emma was close to the door, swinging herself around it and clasping onto the heavy metal. She groaned as she struggled to close it, the creature laughing as the mocked her strength. The girl closed the door with a victory smile, locking the door and flipping it off.

She began to run up countless flights of stairs, her breath stolen from the small adrenaline rush from the creatures appearance. Reaching the second top floor felt like a great accomplishment, but she wasn't done yet. She ran through the halls, taking the careful time to knock down anything that re.ated to the fire scum. She smiled as she ,made it into the healing room, no run-in with the creatures given to her.

"David, It's  me, Emma,  get the hell out of your hiding spot because were getting the fuck out of here." Emma said. A tile from in the roof slid over, revealing David's face covered in dust. He grinned as he slid out of the ceiling, joining Emma on the ground. Emma ran over to the window and opened it with a thud. Aqua flew over I'm a flash, waiting for them to jump on.

"And I thought Peter was crazy, but your proving to be very worse." The blue haired male chuckled. Emma elbowed him gently in the chest, taking a running start towards the window. She flew through the sky, the scent of blood and smoke the first thing that filled her lungs. She was nearly taken by surprise when her body hit Aqua's saddle, but she quickly gripped the tough leather and crawled on. David wasn't to far behind, his landing a little more smoother then Emma's. Aqua dove down as she rounded a corner, revealing the scene,
