Kirstie laughed through the mask...
They were watching her all time favorite movie.
Frozen.
"No matter how many times I watch it... I still love it...." she said happily
"It's the greatest movie of all time!" Harlow said.
"You're definitly her kid." Scott said.
The whole room broke out laughing.
"Hey remember that time when Mitch and Kirstie agree on a movie? We had to decide for them" Kevin laughed.
"We were so mad at you for that." Mitch said
"Dad..? Scott? Can you tell the story how you met Mitch and my Mom?" Harlow asked.
Kirstie blushed looking down...
"Of course... it's my favorite." Avi said smiling at her.
Mitch smiled nuzzling into Scott.... "Mine too..." Scott said
"It was pouring rain that day and it was before we met Matt." Avi said
"It was just me, Avi, and Kevin" he said
"We really wanted an omega so we went down to the center and we looked and looked" Avi
"Until we saw Mitch... we knew he was perfect" Scott said
They always left out the details of Mitch and Kirstie's appearances because they didn't want the kids to know how badly they were mistreated.
Luca,Lilly, Harlow, and Nia smiled...
"Mitch led us to Kirstie. He wouldn't leave without her. She was sick and couldn't walk.. and of course we couldn't say no once we saw her" Avi said.
"You should've seen how much your mom changed your dad" Kevin said
Kirstie and Mitch giggled. "Changed?" Luca said confused.
"Oh yeah! Your dad never ever smiled. Like ever. He wanted to intimidate as many people as possible to scare them away from his Omegas" Scott said
The kids laughed making fun of there dad.
"I t-told him h-how pointless that was. You can still be "scary" with s-smiling." Kirstie laughed.
Avi was red and Luca laughed harder.
"After a few minutes with Kirstie he was crazy smiley...." Scott smiled.
Avi walked to Kirstie kissing her gently.
"You should've seen him trying to flirt with her!!" Mitch said laughing.
The kids just laughed even harder.
"He get so prepared to talk to me and the minute he saw me! He would turn around scared!" She laughed.
The whole room was hysterically laughing at Avi's awkwardness.
All of them temporarily forgetting the dread to come.
The laughter stopped as Kirstie cried out in pain throwing her head back.
