I've been friends with Trunks my entire life. I quickly developed a small crush on him when we were about 4. He was so strong and fearless as a child.

He grew into a handsome, stronger, braver, selfless man. After I turned 18 Trunks and I decided to move in together

His mom, Bulma, always pushed for us to date. I secretly sided with her but Trunks would awkwardly change the subject when she said anything

It's been about 2 years since Trunks and I move in together. He's been off training with his dad for the past month. I felt kinda lonely since he's been gone.

Trunks and I spent 24/7 together. I didn't have any other friends but he had Goten. I felt secretly jealous of Goten at times. He and Trunks had more to bond over.

Trunks walked into the house in torn clothes and a bloody face

"Hey Trunks" I stopped and looked him up and down

He noticed me looking "you should see the other guy" he joked

I giggled and walked into the laundry room to get him some fresh clothes

When I walked back out to the living room Trunks was already shirtless and heading towards the bathroom

"Here" I smiled at him as I handed him his clothes

"What would I do without you" he hugged me tightly

"Are you cold?" He pulled away

I blushed "oh yeah a little" I chuckled and walked to my room

"Oh yeah a little? Idiot. Just tell him how you feel. No. No don't. If he doesn't feel the same it's gonna be weird as fuck."

I laid on my bed and sighed. I looked over to a framed picture of Trunks and I when we were kids. I had on a big white t-shirt that looked like a dress. And he had on a black shirt. We were holding hands.

I chuckled to myself. I can remember that day so well. We pretended to get married

Trunks placed a plastic ring on my finger "I promise to love you forever and ever because you are super cool and I like you!"

I giggled "I promise to love you even more than I love pizza and cupcakes. That's a lot of love Trunks"

I decided to go out to the kitchen to start on dinner. Since Trunks was home I figured he would want a nice meal. When he trains with his dad he tends not to eat

I finished dinner and set the table. Trunks walked into the kitchen, his hair was still wet from the shower

"Wow! You're amazing! Thanks" he said as he sat down to eat

I just smiled and joined him. He talked about his training with his dad and seeing Goten and Goku too

"You've gotten so strong Trunks. I'm proud of you" I smiled

He blushed a little bit and looked at his food

We ate in silence for the rest of dinner. But it didn't feel awkward. Trunks and I were so close with each other even if we went 4 hours without talking it wouldn't be weird. We could comfortably sit in since and be happy.
After dinner Trunks helped me clean up. We went into the living room and popped in a movie to watch

During the movie there was a love confession scene. The man proudly confessed his love for this girl and all I could think about was Trunks.

I shifted on the couch and pulled a blanket over myself. Trunks scooted closer and pulled the blanket over himself as well.

After the movie was over Trunks and I stayed on the couch, talking about how we both hated the movie

"I'm all for cheesy but seriously?" I laughed

"Yeah! And when he confessed his love for her!? Like really?" He said

"What was wrong with that part?" I asked

"Why make a huge ordeal of it. Just pull her close and tell her you love her. Plus if she felt the same she could have said something first. Sometimes guys like when a girl does that" he looked into my eyes
