Vegeta X Reader (Human/Saiyan)

"Vegeta! Can you ever just be fucking nice?!" I screamed at the angry Saiyan. He just told Goten that Santa Claus wasn't real and now the small boy was crying his eyes out.

"He's old enough" Vegeta harshly growled.

I've known Vegeta since the day he came to Earth. I thought he was attractive and his natural dominant personality pulled me in a bit. But as it turns out he, like most dominant males, is a complete dickhead. He's so rude to everyone and doesn't care about anything but himself. Oddly enough though, Vegeta never yells at me. He yells at everyone all the time, but he's never actually yelled at me before. He's harsh towards me and snaps at me but never raises his voice. I've always thought that was strange.

I looked at the sobbing boy as he ran away and sighed. You'd think I'd be used to this shit by now, seeing as it's been over 5 years, but I'm not. It still bothers me when he's mean to people, especially kids.

"Chi-Chi is gonna chew your head off" Bulma laughed as she crossed her arms.

"Shut up" Vegeta harshly snapped at her. Bulma tried to date Vegeta after everything that happened on Namek but Vegeta wasn't interested in her. He's now grown to completely hate the woman and basically vomits hate every time she speaks to him.

"Goku!!!" Bulma yelled for her best friend. Goku appeared at her side and she told him what Vegeta just did to Goten.

"Vegeta, he's my son. You can't tell him things like that. You have no right to" Goku sternly said. Vegeta crossed his arms and rolled his eyes at Goku.

"He's old enough to understand that Santa Claus isn't real. He needs to know that the stupid fairy tales you and his mother tell him aren't real. The world isn't all candy, happiness, and toys. It's full of death, depression, and hate. He'll be a better fighter once he realizes that" Vegeta said. I furrowed my brows and stared at Vegeta.

"He's a fucking child. Let him believe in the magic fairy tales all he wants! It keeps the happiness in the world a little longer. Not everyone was raised by a viciously evil space lizard like you were. He's half human. He doesn't need to "realize the world sucks" to be a better fighter! He-"

"Vegeta's right" Goku suddenly said, cutting me off.

"What?" Bulma and I asked him.

"Goten will be a better fighter if he stops being so childish" Goku sighed.

"Chi-Chi's gonna chew both of you out for this" I said as I shook my head.

"Speaking of the she devil" Bulma whispered as she looked behind me. I turned to see her storming towards us, pulling a crying Goten behind her.

"Vegeta!" She screamed out. I squeezed my lips together to stop my laugh and Vegeta shot me an angry look.

"How dare you tell my son Santa Claus doesn't exist!!! Who do you think you are?!" She screamed. Vegeta rolled his eyes in annoyance and Chi-Chi locked her eyes on me.

"And you! Why didn't you stop him or tell Goten he was lying! You're just as responsible as Vegeta is!" She screamed at me. My mouth fell slightly open as I stared at her. Is she serious??

"Don't yell at her. She did nothing wrong" Vegeta snapped. I turned my head and stared at the angry Saiyan as he glared at Chi-Chi. Why was he defending me??

"She didn't tell Goten you were lying! She should have done something!" Chi-Chi yelled at Vegeta.

"She isn't his mother! It isn't her responsibility to parent your fucking brat when you aren't around. Maybe if you weren't so fucking psycho Goten wouldn't run away to hang out here with normal fucking people" Vegeta yelled at her. My eyes went wide and Chi-Chi's face turned red with anger.
