Vegeta X Reader (Female Human)

"Goku!" Y/n squealed as Kakarot ran after her. I crossed my arms as I sat under the tree and watched the humans and Kakarot fool around by the pool. Bulma and her insufferable boyfriend, Yamcha, were making out in the pool while Kakarot tried to catch Y/n to throw her in.

"Nooooo!" She laughed as he wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her towards the pool. She was kicking and pulling away but he was too strong for her weak attempts. I felt anger building up inside of me as I watched Kakarot pull the human close to him, her body pressed into his.

I have strong feelings for Y/n but I can't tell her how I feel. She won't feel the same as I do and then I'll have to leave this planet to escape the embarrassment of rejection. Plus, I'm pretty sure she has feelings for Kakarot. They are closer than she and Bulma are and she's Bulma's little sister for Christ sake.

"GOKU! NOOO!" She laughed as he tossed her into the pool and jumped in after her. I growled as some of the water splashed near me and Bulma pulled away from her boyfriend, glaring at me. I furrowed my brows and looked out to the busy street on the other side of the fence, trying to ignore Y/n and Kakarot. I could just leave and not hang out them, but it's the only time I ever get to see Y/n. I can't exactly just ask her to hang out..that would be weird and out of character for me. The only reason I'm even here is because Bulma invited me. She always invited me to hang out with everyone and I only say yes when I know for sure Y/n will be there.

I looked back to the pool and saw Y/n floating on her back in the water. She was smiling with her eyes closed as she gently floated around the large pool. I noticed Kakarot staring at her with a small smile and immediately felt jealousy coursing through my veins. I noticed Bulma had gotten out of the pool and wrapped a towel around her body before walking towards me. I looked back to the street and she knelt down in front of me, causing me to glare at her.

"What" I harshly asked her.

"I invited you here to swim with us, not sulk by the tree. Come on" She beckoned me as she stood up. I glared at her for a moment before looking back to the street. She knelt back down and crossed her arms as she let out a hard exhale.

"Sitting here looking all grumpy won't change Y/n's opinion of you, ya know. But going over there and having a good time with her might" Bulma whispered. My eyes shot to her and I stared at her in disbelief. I haven't told anyone how I feel about Y/n so why in the world would this human say such things to me.

"I know you like her, Vegeta. I can always tell when someone likes my little sister. I see the way guys look at her when she isn't looking. Which means I also know Goku likes her too. You need to stop being such an angry prick and go over there and show her you aren't the evil Saiyan you used to be" Bulma said as she stood back up and stared at me. Of course Kakarot likes her. He divorced his crazy wife just because she was being too mean to Y/n. I huffed and looked away from Bulma's gaze, knowing she was right. I haven't really been trying to change her opinion of me so I shouldn't expect it to ever change.

"Fine, be that way. I try to help you out by inviting you to hang out with us but you always do the same shit. Sitting away from everyone else and ignoring us as you stare at Y/n. Maybe I'll stop inviting you over" She said. I looked up at her and she raised a brow as she smirked.

"Or you can go over there and swim with them a little bit" She said. I sighed and stood up, looking away from her to avoid the cocky smile she had. We walked over to the pool and I watched Yamcha look at me with terror in his eyes. Y/n loves Yamcha, in a sibling way, so his opinion of me also matters to her and there's no changing that one.

"Hey Vegeta!" Kakarot smiled at me, causing Y/n to open her eyes and look over at me too. Kakarot has no problem with me and has tried to convince Y/n I'm a good guy, but she doesn't care. I pulled my shirt off and slipped my shoes and socks off, setting them neatly by the table by the pool. I walked over to the pool and slowly walked down the steps, feeling the cool water on my hot skin. I watched Y/n close her eyes again and slowly kick her legs, moving herself around the pool.
