It's been 3 years since the explosion that caused this mess. I was only 14 at the time. My mother, little brother and grandfather were in the lab working on some weird experiment. I didn't care for science like they did. I was more like my dad. Train and become as strong as I could.

The explosion took the life of my grandfather and released something into the air. People started dieing in the middle of the streets. But they didn't stay dead long. They would come back and attack the rest of us

We weren't sure what the hell was happening. My father and I were off training when we felt something wrong with my mother

We flew home and found her and my brother buried under the ruins of the lab

"Y/n.." my mother gasped as she clung to her side

"Mommy what happened?!"

She felt hot to the touch and was sweaty

Goku and his son Gohan appeared and helped dig Trunks out

"We felt Trunks's energy drop fast. Figured something bad happened" Goku said

Trunks didn't look good either. I looked to my father and he looked concerned.

"Let's get them to my place. Chi-chi can help them" Goku grabbed Trunks and my mother. Gohan, my dad, and I touched Gokus back.

We appeared at his house and Chi-chi came running out

"Bulma?" She helped Goku bring her inside

Trunks and my mother laid on the floor and fought for their lives

I knelt down by my mom "Don't" she said as she pushed me away

"It..its-" she began to talk

"Shhhh" Chi-chi said as she placed a cold washcloth on her head

"What happened to them??" Chi-chi asked

I shrugged and help my mother's hand "The lab is completely destroyed...we found them inside"

Trunks reached for Goku

"Its..The bites" he said before passing out

"Trunks!?" I felt his energy disappear

"Trunks!!" I grabbed his hand and squeezed it

His eyes shot open but they didn't look right..they weren't their normal blue color..they were a pale grey color

"T-Trunks?" I couldn't feel his energy anymore but he was alive

"Something is wrong. Move Y/n!" My father yelled at me

Suddenly my brother grabbed my head and tried to bite me

I pulled back and screamed

My father blasted my brother and killed him again

"Daddy no!!!" I screamed as I ran back to Trunks

"He wasn't your brother anymore" my mother said in a raspy voice

"What?" I asked

"He..they..changed..we were trying to bring mice back to life..it..went wrong...so wrong..dad was bitten by one and...changed..He attacked us and bite us...I..I killed him..but..when..When people die...they don't stay dead...I..self destructed the lab to kill it all but..it didn't work..I..kill me..and when I come back..kill me again.." she started to fall in and out of consciousness.
