Vegeta X Reader (Zombie Apocalypse pt.2)

"What the hell do you think you're doing?!" Tyler shouted as I walked into my room

"Going to help someone get their child back" I said as I pulled my gun out of it's holder and placed it on my desk

"You're leaving to help some stranger?!" He yelled at me

"What would mom do?" I asked him the same question he asked me earlier. He clenched his jaw and sighed

"It's dangerous" Tyler said

"I'm taking Carlos with me" I shrugged as I threw my closet open. I grabbed my runners clothes and placed them on my bed.

Before the community became large, I was a runner too

"I don't like this. What if you get hurt? Or worse?" My older brother asked as he crossed his arms

"Then you finally get to step up and be the leader" I said.

"We both know I don't want that. You're the leader. I'm like...your hype man, or something" He said as he sat in my desk chair.

"Tyler, I'll be fine. This guy is... different from you and me. He's tough. I know I'll be safe" I confidently said. Tyler sighed and stood up. He walked over to me and hugged me

"You better be" he said. He walked out of my room and I quickly changed. I put on thick black pants with light padding in them. They were easy to move in and thick enough to stop teeth from getting my skin. I pulled my black long sleeve shirt on and tucked it into my pants. The shirt also had padding thick enough to stop a bite. I pulled my long black steel toed boots on and tied them tightly

I pulled my hair up in a tight bun to keep it out of my face and stuffed my knife into my boot. I grabbed my gun, places it in its holster, and walked out the door

"Carlos, get your running gear on" I told my head guard. He nodded and ran to his room. He was a runner with me in the beginning too. Carlos was the first person Tyler and I found. He stayed with us and asked for the head guard job. I was going to make him my right hand but he wanted to be a guard.

I walked to the infirmary and saw Goku and Vegeta talking. Goku looked upset about something

"I'm fine, Vegeta!" Goku angrily said

"No you aren't. You're staying here while I go get your boy" Vegeta harshly said. I walked up to the bed and sighed

"Vegeta is right. You need to stay here. You're still too hurt" I nodded to the bandages on his stomach. He sighed and crossed his arms

"So stupid" he pouted. I patted his knee and looked at Vegeta. His eyes were glued to my hand and his body was tense

"Carlos should be ready soon" I said. Vegeta looked at me and nodded. He said his goodbyes to Goku and walked outside with me

"Do you need padded clothing?" I asked him as I looked at his blue armor type clothing

"No" he said. He looked at me and stopped walking

"What's wrong?" I asked

"Are you sure you can handle it?" He asked me

"Yeah. Besides, you need all the help you can get. This guy seems to be smart" I said as I crossed my arms

"It's just one human, I can handle it alone" he rolled his eyes

"You're also just one human?" I raised a brow

"I-yeah" He said as he looked away. He was such a strange guy

"Soooo you need help" I smiled. He grunted and looked towards the West gates
