Request from Anon: how would the papas + copia help their s/o with grief at losing either a loved one or a pet? :(

Papa I: I think he wouldn't quite know how to react at first. Although he's old and experienced loss, he doesn't seem like he would be good at comforting others - but that doesn't mean he doesn't try. your his s/o, so he's gonna do everything he can think of to try and help. He'll send you an arrangement of your favorite flowers, and write you a sympathy card, and attend the funeral with you.

Papa II: Also sort of doesn't know what to do. This papa simply waits for you to ask what you need. Aside from sending flowers, he waits for your direction on how you would like to be consoled, and if, and when. need hugs? he's there. need someone to take care of you for a minute while you figure things out? papa has his apron on and he's cooking your favorite meal. you need to be left alone? papa has his phone on the highest volume just in case you call.

Papa III: hopes that if he loves you hard enough he might be able to put a few of the pieces back together. Whether great or small, loss is loss, and is painful no matter what. this papa is attentive to your needs - when you need him there, he'll drop everything to be by your side, and when you just want to be alone and feel your feelings, he gives you that space.

Cardinal Copia: He seems like a very empathetic person, so everything you're feeling he feels to. Sadness, anger, confusion, pain, he feels them all greatly along your side. this helps him comfort you better, and even though sometimes your feelings are just a little too much to bare, he can only hope to take the edge off and make your days a little easier. 10/10 will bake you a casserole, but the casserole will only be a 4/10. he tried and thats what counts.
