Answer:
You sighed deeply from where you sat, spinning in your office chair, keeping your eyes trained on Copia. "Darling, you can't just keep sighing longingly and not say whatever it is you would like to say." He muttered as he sifted through the mess of papers on his desk. You were sitting in your apartment, in the spare bedroom you had converted into a joint office, and Copia had been too busy working to pay you any attention - or at least that's how it felt.
"You've just been so busy, Cardinal. I miss you."
"We'll you're right beside me." He said, without looking up. You sighed again.
"Yes but you're a million miles away," he finally looked up at you. "up here." You tapped your temple. The Cardinal sighed.
"Is this your way of telling me you'd like attention?"
"Well when you put it like that..." You grumbled as you stood and walked over to him. "I just want to spend some time with you. You've been working all day for like a week. I just wanna be with you." You sat down on his lap, straddling him and throwing your arms around his shoulders.
"Tesoro...." You kissed him gently. "I love you. But I have to get this done." You kissed him again but he didn't kiss back. You were beginning to think he really would never let up.
"Take a break from your work, for ten minutes, and kiss me." You looked him directly in the eyes as you spoke, and when you kissed him again he kissed back without hesitation. He wrapped his arms around your waist as you grind on him gently, knowingly teasing him. All at once he stands up, holding you by the bottom of your thighs, carries you to the bedroom. He tosses you down onto the bed as he kicks off his shoes and begins unbuttoning his shirt.
"You don't get to tease me like that, tesoro." You couldn't help but smile, knowing you were getting exactly what you wanted.
"Yes but it works. Besides, you need to take a break anyways. You've been working for so long and-" He interrupts you as he climbs over and kisses you passionately.
"Shut up and kiss me." He growls.
