Papa III: e l a b o r a t e. will do the absolute fucking most, depending on what his s/o likes. If she likes the outdoors he'll plan the most extravagant hike or fitness class to go to, complete with a few hours in a a steamy sauna or a few laps in a pool (he gets really mad when you spit water in his face, but can't help but laugh. "well you never spit anything else so....") if you love the purest romance, he'll bring you shopping early in the day and buy you an outfit for later than evening when he takes you out to eat at your favorite restaurant. after a delicious dinner, he takes you home to reveal fragrant flower pedals trailing from the front door to your bedroom, full of lit scented candles and some chilled champagne. But! if his s/o isnt in the mood to get dressed up or particularly leave the house, he'll cook your favorite meal, bring home your favorite bottle of wine, and after you eat he'll give you a back/foot massage while you watch your favorite netflix show together and talk about anything you feel like talking about. the passion and spark just never die with him.
Cardinal Copia: keeps it simple but would 10/10 fly you to Aruba and buy you a yacht if you expressed absolutely any interest in the idea. he really picks up on the signs and signals from his s/o about how they feel about certain things, what the like, what the desire, and how they like to be treated. more likely to send you for an expensive spa day alone complete with facials, massages, saunas, and meditation than to go with you. does not like being touched by strangers. but! if you asked, he would come with you. not very great at coming up with his own date ideas, but great at taking ques from others. if you want something, all you have to do is ask, and it's yours. thinks medieval times is a romantic evening. if you dont feel like going out or doing anything special, the cardinal will order takeaway and haul out a board game (ones the rats havent gotten at yet). you both drink a whole lot of wine and head to bed early. he infamously says that the best gift of the weekend is catching up on sleep. what an old young man. 10/10
