Andrew’s POV

I can sense the cold fear of the past reverberating inside Marga this very moment. In front of us is Chantal, for a time, I thought rid of here we did, pero here she is right now.

Masakit sabihin pero we are at the mercy of this woman because of the man standing right next to her.

 

“I don’t understand, you say she’s you’re wife, is that correct?” paglilinaw ni Peter. Mukhang my best friend sensed the intensity of the emotions in the room.

“Indeed she is” inakbayan pa ni Franco Lastimosa si Chantal at hinalikan sa tuktok ng ulo niya.

Clearly this man has no idea what me and my family’s gone thorugh because of his wife.

“I think we caught them at a wrong time sweetheart, maybe I should just leave” mapagpanggap na sabi ni Chantal. Kung hindi ko lang kilala ang tabas ng dila nang babaeng ito eh ako na mismo ang pipigil sa kanya sa pag-alis. But no, I know her well enough to even reconsider asking her to leave.

Life really is full of twists and turns, I used to worship this woman. I was willing to give her the moon and the stars, but now, all I wish is for her to get outta my life, our life for that matter.

“No stay” gulat naming tinignan ang biglang nagsalita. Si Phillip. Mukhang titig na titig siya sa chinitang babae na kasamang dumating ni Franco at Chantal. This must be Mika. In the past I remember Philip used to date a certain girl, kaso she had to move away after her Mom died, siya na nga siguro yun.

 “Yes Please, this way” pagaaya ni Faith. Leading them to the far end of the pool where the long table for lunch is.

                                 

“Great! Gutom na ako.” Sagot ni Chantal. “Let’s see what the Palafargans Have for us, oooh I hope it’s yummmmmy” expounding the last words she said bago kumindat sakin at tumalikod na.

Looking at Faith nakatitig siya samin na nanlilisik ang mga mata, she mouthed “Fix this you guys” bago tuluyang tumalikod.

Nang makaalis na ang mga bisita na sinamahan ni Faith sa pinaghandaan ng tanghalian na sinundan din ni Phillip ay nakahinga ng maluwag ang lahat.

“I am not working with that family even if Palafargan Indsutries fail to the last centavo” galit na sabi ko sa pamilya ko. Napaka selfish ko pero ngayon lang ulit ako sumaya, ibalato n asana nila to sakin.

“You don’t know what you’re saying Andrew, kailangan natin sila. Alam mo what a hard time we’ve been going through after all that you established, expansion after expansion, hindi kakayanin ng warehouse natin ang demands ng construction sites natin sa buong mundo if we do not pursue this, give it 8 more months and all lahat ng construction natin babagal, we might not be able to meet our deadlines” rebuttal ni Daddy sa akin. I can sense the call of need sa tono ng boses niya.
