So! this story is. . . Interesting, Its a Hero x Hero x Villain x Hero x Villain story, Because this is toootally not over used, (Totally).

Alright, Into this world.

Rarity of powers:

Alright, All powers are very rare, One in fifty million chance that a kid will have powers is the current chance.

It has gone up over the years, It used to be one in three hundred million but due to those powered people having children the chances have gone up.

 A child born of two people with powers will have a higher chance of having powers or having a child or grandchild who has powers.

Many powers are fairly useless, Some people can speak with plants others can create little light shows and still others can make good life choices. . . 

Okay, That last one would be pretty useful. . .

Some people have two powers but that is uncommon, The limit and the rarest is three powers, There have only been five people who have had three powers throughout recorded history.

A child tends to have a chance to present their power within the first ten years of their life, If the power has not presented by the time they hit their teens their power will most likely be very, very weak.

Power info:

All of the powers have a weakness, Take for instance someone with Shapeshifting, They can take on any form, Shape or even idea they have.

However, They can not regrow limbs or change their weight, It takes them a while to shift and even that makes their limbs sore, As if they ran a marathon (They also need a good idea of biology to pull complex shifts off).

They cannot shift too rapidly, After a while of shifting too much they will get stuck in a form until their bodies rest up enough to shift back.

Another example would be someone with fire power, They require energy and stamina to properly fight with their power.

They are immune to fire, however walking or doing anything in a fire that is not of their making will feel like they are being slowly cooked alive, Even when there will be no actual damage to them. . . Physically speaking. . .

Some powers have their own sentience, A example would be someone who has hologram like creatures they can summon, The creatures are tied to the person and cannot live without them, However they can think and act for themselves.

They will however do what is in the best interest of their person as well as normally obeying most all of their commands.

This is a odd thing though so few have such a power or one similar to it, Many kids with such a power have actually been killed because of it (Mostly due to parents and strangers thinking 'Oh its demons! The kid's a demon it must be killed!' ).

Powers also have a odd sort of side effect, This effect can cause two powered people to be 'shipped' by the universe, Sometimes it's not even two powered people.

Now the reason the way powers chose who to ship actually is based partly in science.

So, During the big bang, Some atoms who were made were broke apart, These atoms proceeded to make up the structure in powered people's genes that give them their power.

The protons, Neutrons and electrons that made up these atoms still 'remembered' the ones they were with to begin with.

So they are drawn to those who posses these missing elements, Be it they have powers themselves or if one of their ancestors did.
