You have two options. Either I can critique your first chapter (option one), or your first five chapters (option two). Both options will have different payments (which I will address later). I will post my review in this book for you as well as others to see. If you're uncomfortable with that, privately message me and we can work out a different option for you.
I will split my critiques into ten different parts, and my overall score for your story in my review will follow these parts:
1. YOUR COVER—Is it good? Or is it lacking? (10/10)
2. YOUR TITLE—Does it represent your story? (10/10)
3. YOUR BLURB—Is it too long? Too short? Does it represent your story? (5/5)
4. YOUR HOOK—Does it make me want to read more? (5/5)
5. YOUR GRAMMAR—Comma. Semicolon. Apostrophes. Are they used correctly? (10/10)
6. SPELLING ERRORS—how many typos do you have? Did you even edit your work? (5/5)
7. YOUR PLOT—Is it unique? Or is it predictable and cliche? Any plot holes? (20/20)
8. YOUR CHARACTERS—Personalities? Character arcs? Or are they dull and lifeless? (10/10)
9. YOUR VOICE—How do you write? I should see your voice through your work. (20/20)
10. YOUR STORY FLOW—Are your sentences stilted, or awkward? (5/5)
T O T A L S C O R E: /100
And as I've mentioned earlier, there will be two options for you. If you choose option one, I will only critique your first chapter. You can use my suggestions and recommendations and apply it to the rest of your book. Choosing option two means I'll critique your first five chapters.
(For poetry, my style of grading will be based on different expectations. If you apply to have your poetry reviewed, just apply in the forms page as normal, and I will privately message you the details of my grading guidelines).
