 Seokjin hasn't been around as long as Namjoon. They had met purely by chance, serendipity, fate- whatever word that means that once upon a time they had been strangers until their worlds collided into one.

During his time of college, when coffee was the only thing within his veins instead of blood, Seokjin was like a whirlwind; a typhoon that came and went whenever he pleased.

He was still a model, though not nearly as well-known as he is presently, but known enough to have more than a few admirers, but still attended college if only to please himself.

They had run into each other in the school library, both needing the same economics book, and it only had one left.

Seokjin, being the man that he was, snatched it up and demanded that Yoongi and him share the book over at his apartment with lots of food.

Needless to say, Yoongi was less than thrilled. The idea of going to a stranger's place to share a book was absurd on a good day, downright delusional on a bad one.

But denying Kim Seokjin anything was near impossible, and Yoongi found himself there the very next day, food all but being shoved in his mouth, and working silently side by side on separate projects using the same book.

Granted, it wasn't actually an easy relationship. It was rocky at best, if Yoongi were to really think back on it. Seokjin was social, bubbly, and quite honestly in your face as he was kind and thoughtful.

Yoongi was... much less than that. He went there to study, to work so he could leave, but Seokjin mentioned more than once that he had just gotten to this area of Seoul and had no friends, and he considered Yoongi a very close friend.

Of course, Yoongi being the soft pushover he was, took pity on him. He went to his place, allowed Seokjin to feed him, and maybe, just maybe, he had a few drinks with him.

Begrudgingly, he began to actually enjoy spending his time with the older man. Despite how playful and over the top he was, he was there when Yoongi needed something, or needed time away from the studio and Namjoon.

Therefore, meeting Namjoon was... inevitable. A collision that Yoongi didn't dare try to stop.

As usual, Namjoon had made quite the introduction. Gangly long limbs, sweet dimpled smile, and cheeks flushed in shyness at the beauty that was Kim Seokjin.

Yoongi and Namjoon were taking a midnight break from the studio, deciding that coffee was in order if they were going to make it through the night on their project, and maybe Yoongi had forgotten that Seokjin was a frequent customer at this 24-hour café.

Namjoon was a sweet man. All dimpled smiles and clumsy affection. He should have known that the two would be making googly eyes at one another, but god, Yoongi still wishes he didn't have to witness the embarrassment of Namjoon.

It was fine at first. Ordering coffee, talking under their breath (arguing but Yoongi refuses to admit that) about the song, and then standing off to the side as they waited for their coffee.

Cue the beautiful Kim Seokjin, the moment where it all went to hell.

It went something like this;

The barista was done making Namjoon's green tea superficial bullshit that Yoongi honestly never wanted to hear again. He reached for the cup, just as Seokjin appeared like a little sprite and hugging on Yoongi.

Namjoon turned, drink in hand, sees the most beautiful man talking a mile a minute, quite literally stumbles forwards, and spills his green massacre across Seokjin's very expensive shoes.
