"I don't want this pack, Joon-ah," he explains quietly, lowering himself to his belly. Namjoon pushes himself up, ears flicking forwards. "I fought, yes, but I don't want this pack. Not as Head Alpha. That isn't me. I'm not that kind of person, I don't think."

Namjoon stares at him, tail curling around him as Yoongi bares his neck, eyes fluttering closed. "Yoongi hyung, you don't have to do that, you know?"

"Yes, I do." Opening his eyes, he meets Namjoon's steady gaze. "You deserve to lead this pack. Okay?"

Namjoon smiles. It's a bit grotesque in wolf form, all teeth and seemingly demented. Yoongi snorts, amused at the look as Namjoon's tail thumps the snow. "Okay, hyung. But just know it's not just my pack. It's ours."

Yoongi nods his head again, this time taking in the time to study Namjoon. The blue-grey coat was shimmering prettily in the afternoon light, the white adding a mysterious look to the otherwise stable coat.

It oddly suited him, Yoongi thought. The colorings matching Namjoon's personality of being kind and gentle, yet his frame was not one to scoff out, his longer legs and big paws. The brush of his claws was enough to know he could use them.

Yoongi turns his head away.

"We sound like wolves. It's a little creepy."

"Hyung, you're literally a wolf right now. A giant silver wolf," Namjoon says, deadpan.

Yoongi wags his tail, cocking his head. "Really? And here I thought I was fucking Yorkiepoo. What a dream snatcher."

Namjoon snorts, shaking his head and getting to his feet. Yoongi followed suit, the more serious cloud falling over the two as Namjoon glances over his shoulder. His tail stills from it's otherwise mindless movements.

"Jinnie told me you could see. That when you healed, your eyes healed too," he states softly, golden eyes searching. Yoongi nods once, unable to really meet his searching gaze. "Hyung... how did this happen? Humans do not just become Lycan's."

Yeah. Yoongi knows. He wonders the same exact thing. Ever since he had woken up, he had wondered how it was possible, and no matter how long he remains in his wolf form, the answer was not any clearer.

"I don't know, Joon-ah. I really don't. I remember... almost dying. Then... nothing."

The blue-grey Alpha tilts his head, right ear falling over his eye as he turns back to look towards the forest.

"Taehyung said something. Earlier. About the Moon Goddess." Yoongi glances over at Namjoon, head tilting to the side curiously. "Something about Raksha and Spirit. That they were always meant to be wolves too."

Yoongi scoffs, tail swishing in irritation. "It's just a wolf tale, Joon-ah."

Namjoon shrugs his furry shoulders, golden eyes not even blinking. "Yeah. Yeah, it is." He hesitates, shifting his paws anxiously. "But Yoongi hyung, I know you had something to do with this. With me now becoming a Lycan. I know it was you. Somehow. I don't know how. I don't know why. But I know it was you."

Yoongi's heart falls into his stomach. Namjoon sounded so sure, firm, and steady, but Yoongi felt nothing of that. He wasn't sure how this happened either, or how it is possible because it is a well known fact that Lycan's are born, and never created.

"I will be the first to admit that, hell yeah, I am curious on how this happened, but another part of me just says fuck it," Namjoon continues, snorting to himself. Yoongi blinks. "All I know is, you did this. And I am grateful. For whatever the hell you did."
