"I'll send it in tomorrow with the attachment," Yoongi says, standing and stretching out his back from sitting too long in the seat. Namjoon watches him, nodding from behind his thick rimmed glasses perched on his nose. "I'm done for the night. I promised Guk lamb skewers tonight."

"So that's why you snagged extra lamb when we were down in the human village," Namjoon remarks, wagging his brows in play. Yoongi snorts and shoves his shoulder playfully. "Hoping to get laid tonight?"

"A wolf can dream. I feel like I haven't had sex in years," Yoongi groans, rubbing his eyes tiredly. "Not sure I have the stamina anymore."

"Yoongi, you're like, forty-four. Not that old, dude," Namjoon retorts, rolling his eyes behind his glasses.

Yoongi wags his finger. "My age is forty-four, but my body is, like, ninety-eight."

Namjoon gives him a droll stare. "And you wonder why your mate calls you grandpa. You're literally a walking grandfather when you say shit like that."

"A true gift," jests Yoongi. Opening the door, Yoongi salutes before leaving their mini office and calling a rushed goodbye over his shoulder. Exiting the house with a quick wave to Seokjin, who was busy on the phone with what sounded like a businessman.

As soon as he stepped outside, he paused in surprise to see Seyeon waiting for him on the porch. She was wearing her usual white dress that clung to her curvy frame and black hair falling past her shoulders in unruly waves.

"Seyeon-ah?" he calls. Seyeon raises her head, a small smile curling over her pink lips as she stands and brushes herself off. Yoongi hobbles down the steps. "What brings you out here? Did mom need me for something?"

"No, nothing like that," Seyeon replies, waving her hand quickly in front of her face and cheeks dusting pink. "I- I wanted to walk with you. Talk. I've been so busy with Seokie and Jia lately, and wanted to catch up."

"Ah." He glances around, brow furrowing. "Where is Jisung?"

"With mom."

Despite his close relationship with his daughter, it was pretty rare that he got really any alone time with her. Jisung was never far behind his twin sister, and ever since Dal left a few months ago, the two of them stuck further together.

Even Jia and Seyeon had become closer than ever in Dal's absence, and Seyeon had been spending more and more of her time with Hoseok on the other end of the land.

"Well, let's get going, then," Yoongi says, offering a smile as they fall in time with one another. They are quiet, staring up at the October leaves that changed from green to oranges, yellows, and reds. "Is everything okay, Seyeon-ah? It isn't everyday that you set out to be alone with me."

Seyeon flinches, kicking her bare toe against some of the dead leaves as she averts her calico-cat eyes away. "Is it that obvious?"

Yoongi laughs. "When you are too much like me, yes." He searches her profile, taking in the downturn of her lips, the waver in her eyes, and the unease in each of her steps. "What is it, sweetheart?"

"I- I wanted to ask for something," she finally states, voice barely above a whisper. Yoongi gives her a small look, pursing his lips curiously. "I want to leave the pack."

Vision tilting, legs stumbling at the sheer disbelief that felt like a ton of bricks over his chest. He stopped walking, staring towards his daughter with wide eyes as she paused and looked back at him, golden gaze hooded and bottom lip between her teeth.

"What... did you say?"

"Dad," she starts slowly, "I want to leave the pack. Go out on my own, explore what the world has to offer. Form my own pack. I want to go be my own person, figure out who that person even is."
