Yoongi smiles, pleased. He could hear Jeongguk's yip of happiness, and the tumbling sounds of them crumbling the floor in probably a huge wolf pile was one that eased the turnings of his heart.

He knew what Taehyung and Jimin meant to Jeongguk. They were what kept him sane during his time of being with the family pack, and he knew that having them back in his life would make him so much happier. More complete.

Yoongi never wanted to take Jeongguk away from being a wolf. It meant too much to the Lycan, and he could never dream of yanking that away. Sure, his heart ached because he wishes he could be that for Jeongguk too.

Just like Namjoon wishes he could be there for Seokjin. He had felt the longing from the younger man when they sat on the stoop, watching their lovers play in the snow as wolves. He knew that Namjoon craved it as much as Yoongi did.

Maybe now some of the ache would lessen, he wouldn't feel as burdened by the knowledge that he couldn't be Jeongguk's playmate the same way the other Lycan's could. He could finally feel better about being Jeongguk's lover; his partner and boyfriend, a mate without a wolf side.

"Yoongi?"

Yoongi startled at the sudden whisper of his name, dropping his cooking chopsticks as they clatter to the ground. Turning, he blinked owlishly at Jeongguk as the Lycan pauses a few inches away.

"You startled me," Yoongi rasps, sighing in relief that it was just Jeongguk.

"Sorry." Jeongguk steps closer, easily reaching down and taking Yoongi's hands so that they rested over his features, allowing him to feel his emotions. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah. Yeah, I'm sorry. I was just- I was thinking," Yoongi whispers, fingers tracing the downwards curve of Jeongguk's thin lips. The way his brow was creased with worry.

"Your honeysuckle was wilting," Jeongguk murmurs quietly. "What were you thinking about?"

"I don't know," he answers swiftly, leaning over and pressing his lips against Jeongguk's, soaking up the sweet taste of him and sighing into his warmth. "I was just thinking, darling. Promise."

Jeongguk looks almost ready to argue, amber eyes searching and curious, but decided to accept Yoongi's answer with a subtle tilt of his head.

"Tae and Mini are going to stay. With us," Jeongguk says after a moment, nosing at Yoongi's silver hair and inhaling gently.

"Good," Yoongi murmurs, pushing himself up and wincing at the strain of his ankle, but clashes his lips back against Jeongguk.

The Omega doesn't complain, but eases himself down and wrapping his arm around Yoongi's waist to hoist him closer and take the weight off his aching foot. The kiss was languid, gentle, and Jeongguk's hands fluttering over Yoongi's hoodie.

Yoongi reaches between them, hands sinking into the silken ink strands to pull Jeongguk closer still, opening his mouth and pushing his tongue to graze over Jeongguk's lips.

The Omega moans, instantly allowing access, and he dives in.

No matter how many times Yoongi kisses him, it will always be like the first. The way Jeongguk goes pliant, but doesn't lack eagerness in the way his tongue clashes against his own. A dance that neither passes or fails.

How his hands flutter over his body, wanting to touch, and yet never sure where he can, so he just brushes everywhere.

Yoongi was just so in love with his little wolf.

"Yoongi," Jeongguk breathes, moaning at his jawline. Yoongi grunts, hands resting on his shoulders as he fought to even his breathing. "Food."

Cursing under his breath, he pulled away and returned to checking the meat, which was a mere few seconds from being overcooked. Luckily not burnt.
