"Hey Yoongi."
Groaning slightly, Yoongi sat up from where he was trying to put together a new sound system. The heat of midsummer was bearing down on his back, making his black shirt stick to his sweaty skin as he glanced up and saw Dal nearby, holding up a bottle of water.
Yoongi grins. "Dal-ah, hey."
"Thirsty?" she asks, chuckling and tossing it. Yoongi grabs it easily, cracking it open and taking a swing.
Dal was dressed in her usual attire. Cropped jean shorts, bare feet, and a short-sleeved top that was backless and showed a hint of her toned stomach whenever she moved. Her blue-grey hair tumbles down her shoulders like a waterfall, framing her sharp features and when she smiles reveals her dimples, like her father.
At nineteen years old, Dal had grown into a stunning young woman. Thick curves and long legs, she was a sight to behold. Many wolves that passed through did anything to catch her attention, but she paid them no heed.
Sometimes, it was hard to believe how much she had grown. He can still remember the first time he held her, the morning after her birth. Carrying her around in that sling and talking to her. She was the first of the pack's pups, and now she was all grown up.
Settling onto the grass nearby, she sighs as she rests her elbows on her knees. Yoongi caps the drink, pushing himself so that he is sitting next to her. "What brings you around here? Seyeon is out with Eunji and Eunmi, Taehyung and Jimin."
"I am not here for Seyeon," Dal replies gently, her lilting voice reminiscent of her mother's. She raises a teasing brow. "I came to bug my favorite Alpha."
Yoongi snorts. "That would be your father, not me, bug."
"No, it's you. He just happens to my favorite dad," she remarks cheekily, grinning so wide that her dimples are flush on her cheeks and her eyes curve like Seokjin's. "So, therefore, it's even."
"Oh, really?" he asks, fighting off a smile. "Then who is your favorite wolf?"
"Taehyung."
"Favorite Omega?"
"Koo," she says swiftly.
Yoongi guffaws. "Then who is Jimin to you?"
"The cutest wolf," she replies in a 'duh' tone.
"Oh, right, my bad." He nudges her gently. "Seok?"
"The coolest."
"And Jin would be your favorite mom."
Dal nods sagely, stretching out her legs and leaning back on her forearms. "Precisely. Now, you're catching on."
Yoongi shakes his head, stifling his mild amusement. "You are far too much like your mother. You have his personality."
"Utterly charming and amusing?"
"Over dramatic and annoying, but hey, that works too, I guess," jests the Alpha.
Dal throws her head back in laughter, the sound bouncing off the trees. "And you haven't changed since I was a pup. Goddesses, Seyeon sounds like you." She shakes her head and pushes herself up. "I actually do have a motive."
"I knew it. Jin poisoned the water, didn't he?"
"If only," Dal snarks, then hits his shoulder playfully. "No, really, Yoongi. Can I- Can I ask you something?"
Catching the serious tone, Yoongi nods and pushes himself so that he is sitting up and facing Dal. Anxiety was twitching at her lips, causing her fingers to fiddle with the hem of her shirt as she glances towards the direction of her cabin.
