Chapter 124

The three pups clambered back to their paws, already trotting with their tails up and fur glistening in the sunlight as they headed towards the Head Alpha's den.

When they got there, Namjoon had emerged from the forest, in human form, and dressed down. He glanced up at the sound of yapping puppies, and beamed at seeing his daughter among them.

Namjoon's face looked better than it did seven years ago, but it was still harsh to look at and kept his eye blinded on that side, but it had healed and was easier to look around. He was still handsome Namjoon as he fell to his knees and allowed three pups to lick, nip, and slobber over him.

"Jinie told me that we would be seeing you around tonight, Seyeon-ah. Wow, look at your coat! You look just like your mother," Namjoon compliments, fingers drifting through her patchy puppy fur. "And Jisung, you look so fierce! Just like your father."

"I am going to be as big as daddy too, Joo! Just like you!" Jisung says, tail wagging.

"Maybe. Or you could be just as courageous as your mother," Yoongi reminds him. "It doesn't matter what you present as. Beta, Omega, or Alpha. You're always our son."

Jisung hangs his head. "I know."

"You'll be great no matter what, Jisung-ah," Seyeon says calmly, tail wagging gently as she nuzzles her twin brother lovingly. "Even as an Omega, I bet you'll be great. Strong, just like our mom."

"And if you present as an Alpha, Seyeon-ah, I bet you'll be so fierce! Scare off any intruders!"

Seyeon perks up, her tail picking up. "Yeah! Or maybe, we can be cool like Taehyungie and Seokie! Beta's are cool because they can do practically anything!"

"Maybe I should become a pack doctor, like Seokie!" Jisung says, practically bouncing on his toes.

"I think all of those ideas are wonderful," Namjoon says, grinning. "I can't wait to see how it all plays out, yeah?"

The three pups nod happily.

"Why don't you two head inside, shift to human form, and help Jinie with making some cookies?"

And then they were gone in a whirlwind, except for Jisung who yapped goodbye to his sister and Dal, which they returned easily.

Namjoon straightens, leaning over and hugging Yoongi in a quick greeting. "Hey, hyung. How are you?"

"Tired. The twin boys are nightmares," he grunts, shaking his head. "Look forward to that with your new litter coming."

"Gee, thanks," Namjoon guffaws, hitting Yoongi's shoulder in play. "But I am excited. New babies, you know?"

"I know," Yoongi says, nodding.

"By the way, we are good on supplies for at least another month, but I wanted to wait as long as possible. Until Jin gives birth at least since I know you can't part from Jeongguk right now with the twins only being a year," Namjoon explains. "But with Jin pregnant with a probable litter, I am not sure we have enough supplies."

Yoongi frowns. "Seok and I can make an emergency run, if needed," he offers. "It's only a few days, and I know with you and the others, then you can easily help Jeongguk with the twin boys."

Namjoon nods slowly. "I was thinking about it. I need to crunch some numbers, double check everything," he adds, then tilts his head. "We have been doing amazing selling the songs. Great production value. Jeongguk's song Euphoria is hitting some charts, so that is super helpful."

"We have more than enough money, Joon-ah," Yoongi states, placing his hand on his shoulder. "Stop stressing. If any of these kids want to attend college, they can."
