"Yoongi!"
Yoongi glances up from his desk, eyes flickering from the email on his computer screen to lock eyes with his mate. Jeongguk was standing in the doorway of their shared office, dark hair tousled and matted slightly with sweat, and his smile amused.
"Yoongi, Joon is asking for you. He broke the desk again," Jeongguk says, leaning against the archway and his eyes dancing.
Jeongguk looked beautiful as he always did. Raven hair seemed to dance in the wind other than the back part of his hair plastered against his neck from the sweat, his frame filled out and will-fit from his morning workouts with Seokjin until he couldn't anymore with his stomach beginning to swell.
He wasn't too far along, but his stomach was noticeable, even when he tried to hide it with loose shirts, but it still managed to stretch the thin material. The turtleneck sweater barely able to conceal the pregnancy glow to his cheeks.
The sweats he wore low on his hips, the length of them telling him that they were probably Namjoon's, but the smell was purely his Omega whose scent was overly sweet with his pregnancy.
Smiling, Yoongi leaned back in his chair to admire how beautiful Jeongguk looked. It seemed like no matter how often he stared at his Omega, he was always blown away by how stunning he truly was. Even in the throes of pregnancy that he knew he hated.
Despite wanting pups of his own, the streak of Jeongguk that hated being an Omega never left. Yoongi couldn't even count how many times he had seen Jeongguk glaring at his growing belly with barely masked contempt, or hated being treated as fragile by the Beta and Alpha of the pack. Always wanting to do things for himself.
He loved the pups though. He would whisper things to them when he thought Yoongi was asleep, or when he was alone he would rub at the growing swell with awe and a bunny smile. The look of glee on his face when he realized that there was a miracle there.
Their miracle.
The pregnancy wasn't planned, but they didn't really try to stop it either. During the final parts of construction of their cabin, Jeongguk had fallen into his heat, and with it, Yoongi with his second rut.
Since they were mates, their bodies were already in sync with what was needed, and they had spent three days barely leaving the confines of their bed (which, they luckily already had made and in their bedroom which was the first thing that had been finished) or the "shower".
They were lucky that their cabin was already mostly done. Only two more rooms needed to be finished, their electricity to be wired, but other than that, they had everything done. They had their outside, their own well that provided fresh water, and a large enough cabin for them and their coming pups.
The land that they had settled on was perfect. Nothing but acres and acres of forest that was flat and good for growing their crops, good hunting grounds for meat, and the nearest town two days of travel on foot. They had a car, a large truck, parked at the edge of their property that they use to transport supplies.
Each of the mated pairs have their own cabins being built. Namjoon's and Seokjin's was already finished, but only because Yoongi had to help the clumsy Alpha and Hoseok spent less time on his cabin because he wasn't as rushed. He didn't mind sleeping outside as much as Yoongi did.
The past two months went by quickly in a flurry of building, transporting furniture, food, and getting things set up. It was hard, but it was nothing in comparison to everything that could have happened.
Jimin, being the most heavily pregnant, spent most of the time just making sure that everything was done in their pups room. Hoseok suspected that he was pregnant with twins, and because of that, needed more rest. He was already in the position to give birth, but seemed content to wait it out.
