Dal was tucked in Yoongi's arms, fast asleep, and her sweet scent that no one could really identify yet, because she was too little, was peaceful as the morning sunlight that filtered through the air.
Seokjin was in the back, napping, since Dal had kept him up with her fussing last night, so he was taking the chance to catch back up and Yoongi offered to watch her. He never minded Dal, even when she was fussy.
Jimin and Hoseok were outside in the backyard, the beat of the song urging their bodies movements. Despite the snow, it never seemed like much of a hindrance to their movements.
Yoongi was surprised by how well Jimin was picking up dance, easily shifting his body so that he could mimic Hoseok's moves, but with a flair of his own. Sultry, sensual, and smooth. The look on his face as he danced was reminiscent of how Yoongi felt running his wolf form.
It almost seemed like if he was human, he would be a dancer. Maybe one of those idols on stage. It was a distant thought, really, because he knew that Jimin would never give up being a wolf. Give up Taehyung.
Hoseok loved to dance as much as Jimin, and the two spent a lot of time together dancing and perfecting moves, or watching YouTube videos of other dancers to pick up new moves and different styles.
It was nice to see, actually, how they were starting to gain their human traits. Their likes and dislikes, what they prefer, and human quirks. Like Jimin running his fingers through his orange hair, and Taehyung constantly licking his lips.
Even Jeongguk with his nose wiggles and scrunches, constantly sniffling. It was precious as much as it was astounding. When Yoongi first met them, they had been animalistic, sometimes even primal in their needs, but the more time they spent as humans, learning and adjusting, the more they seemed to grow into themselves.
Namjoon and Jeongguk were hunched over Yoongi's computer, speaking in low tones and fiddling with music. They have been doing that for two days now, chattering and learning how to create music together.
The mark on Jeongguk's neck had scabbed over nicely, looking prominent against his tanned skin. Even when he was speaking and gesturing to something on the screen, Namjoon looked overly thoughtful as he said something back.
Smiling to himself at the way those two worked together, he turned away to glance at Taehyung that was sitting on the couch. His foot was propped up, a sketchbook in his lap, and tongue out as he focused hard on the paper as he drew something.
Yoongi had found an old sketchbook in some boxes in the back of his closet, empty and needing to be filled, and Seokjin had offered some pencils and Taehyung had taken a liking to drawing if it meant he wouldn't be bored anymore.
His foot looked grotesque at best. It was discolored behind the bandages, bent at a slightly awkward angle, and was unable to move it from a slight point that it now seemed to be stuck in.
Every time Yoongi caught sight of it, his stomach clamped and guilt festered like acid within his gut. Taehyung barely even glanced at it, his box smile never faltering even as Hoseok fawns over him constantly, apologizing out of the blue.
Hoseok told him the other night, when the others were fast asleep but Hoseok couldn't sleep, and Yoongi was too restless to try, so they had settled outside and stared at the moon, that Taehyung had seen the trap before he did.
"I was running, and I wasn't paying attention. The next thing I know, Tae hit my side, and I stumbled. I fell in the snow, and I guess my sudden disappearance made Taehyung fall forwards and- and his back leg wasn't fast enough. He saw it, and he pushed me away."
