The first question Yoongi felt was why? Why trust him so easily? What had he done to even offer that option?
"But, Taehyung-ah, it's your mating mark, I shouldn't- what about Jimin-ah?" he blurted, wrist tightening a fraction as his eyes dart towards the shock of orange hair.
Jimin only smiles. "I already gave my permission. Jeongguk loves you, and you have treated us with nothing but kindness, even after attacking you for assuming you had hurt Gukkie."
"And we groomed together, like we were pack. You took care of us, helped teach us to be human," Taehyung concludes, nodding his head firmly as if to confirm his own words. Yoongi worried on his bottom lip, hand clenched from where Taehyung was still gripping his wrist. "I don't mind you touching it, because you can't see it. You don't know what it's like, and you actually want to know. You want to learn. I'm willing to show you."
"But... it's sacred."
Jimin beams. "Which is why I know you won't hurt it. Hurt us."
Yoongi wasn't sure how to answer, so he just remained quiet as he flickers his hazy gaze towards Taehyung. He watched wordlessly as Taehyung led his hand to his collarbone. Yoongi's breath caught in his throat, feeling the warmth of his skin, and then roughness that broke the otherwise unblemished skin.
Brow furrowing, Yoongi shakily traced the shape of wolven teeth, probably similar to the one that was going to be on his ankle. It was puffed beneath his fingertips, warmer than the rest of his skin as if the mark itself was alive; a second heartbeat.
Taehyung remains deathly still beneath his touch, shoulders tensing to the point of pain, and Jinin was shifting his weight and squirming as if he too could feel the ghost touch of Yoongi's fingertips.
Maybe he could. Yoongi wasn't really sure; he couldn't read either of their expressions, and a churning of his gut was enough for him to pull his hand away, Taehyung's grip loosening and let his hand fall back to his side.
Taehyung released shuddering breath, exhaling so loudly that Yoongi almost jumped, and Jimin leans over to brush his fingers over Taehyung's mark.
"It scars over," Yoongi murmurs quietly, mezmorized. Once again, the distant yearning was like a dagger to his gut. An ache that couldn't be sated, and for a moment, he truly hated being human.
"Yeah," Jimin admits. "We both share each other's bite, but to other wolves, they can smell the fact that we are bonded."
"Right." Stepping back, looking away from Taehyung and Jimin, he clears his throat. "I'll go... check through what clothes we have. Then, uh, go make us some food."
Neither of the wolves say anything, or try to stop him. Taking that as his cue, Yoongi ducks out of the bathroom and desperately tries to ignore the heat in his cheeks. It didn't take long for him to find some form of clothes that could fit Jimin- they were around the same size- but it took a little longer to settle on Taehyung's.
Once finding the clothing, he returns to the bathroom and wordlessly hands the two their clothes, gesturing for who was what, and asking quietly if they needed help, which both denied.
Relieved, Yoongi made his escape to the kitchen. Air returned to his tight lungs, hands grappling at the fridge handle. Squeezing his eyes shut, he ignored the tremors in his fingers that ached for ivory keys, and licked his lips.
He needed to gather his thoughts, calm the stirring within his belly, and calm himself down. The sweat on his hands made him flinch as he pressed his forehead against the cool refrigerator.
A part of him disliked how attached he was to the two wolves already, despite their amusing and more animalistic nature. He admired their bravery, even though they were just kids in some ways, and innocent in ways that Yoongi wondered how it was possible.
