When Jeongguk pulled away, Yoongi stepped into the kitchen feeling slightly out of place as the two wolves looked up and offered bright smiles.

Yoongi shifted awkwardly, clearing his throat.

"Um, I- uh, I just- "

Jeongguk sidled up, his smile gentle as he leaned down to brush his nose against Yoongi's in their usual greeting.

Yoongi sighed, melting slightly as he pushed himself on to his tiptoes and captures Jeongguk's awaiting lips.

Seokjin croons. "Aw, look at my little Yoongichi and my new puppy offering such love!"

Yoongi pulled apart, arm slipping around Jeongguk's waist in a slight possessive manner to cast a glare towards the older man. "Yoongi, first of all, and second of all, your new what now?"

Seokjin grins wickedly. "Jeongguk is my new pup. I am adopting him as my son, and you can't take that away from me."

Jeongguk giggles, amusement tickling like glass within his tone as he leans his weight against Yoongi as the older human sighs, rubbing his temple tiredly.

"Wolf or not, you're still annoying," he grumbles.

"Pretty much," Seokjin agrees easily, "what? You think growing fur and a tail suddenly makes me your bitch? You're cute, Yoongichi, but not that cute."

"Whatever. What are you making anyways?" Yoongi asked, walking over and sitting at the table.

Jeongguk bounced back over to Seokjin, eagerly leaning down at the cooking food.

"Black Bean Paste stew," Seokjin replies, clicking his tongue. "With the colder weather I figured we all could use some warm stew in our stomachs."

Yoongi hummed, nodding his head as he watched them bustle around the kitchen.

Jeongguk learned new vocabulary, eagerly repeating Seokjin's words as they added ingredients, and time dwindled with the three of them.

"How'd you get in by the way? To the cabin, I mean," Yoongi blurted, brow furrowing as Seokjin starts dishing the stew into bowls and Jeongguk gathering the silverware happily.

Seokjin glances up. "The key I made for myself in case you were either dying or sleeping and wouldn't let me in."

Yoongi remained silent a long, drawn out moment. "I don't even know why I am surprised. Honestly, I should not be this surprised, but low and behold, I am fucking surprised."

"I don't know why you're surprised either," Seokjin chuckled, shrugging. "It is me, after all."

Sighing, Yoongi shook his head as the two set the table just when a knock sounded.

Head shooting up, Yoongi felt his stomach wither and shrink as instantly he searched for Jeongguk, only to suddenly feel his hand clasped tightly in his own and heat emitting from his back as Jeongguk leaned against him.

"Joonie!" Seokjin murmured with glee, already ditching the table to wander over to the front door and yank it open.

Namjoon only had a spilt second to drop the bags and open his arms as Seokjin threw himself into his embrace.

Yoongi watched their forms as they stumbled over the threshold, snow glinting in Namjoon's hazel hair, and jacket speckled white, but Seokjin didn't seem to care as he pulled back and touched noses with him.
