Chapter 13

*second person p.o.v.*

"Sasuke!" You and Naruto yell. You ran over, ignoring the senbon needles that were impaled into your skin and caught Sasuke before he could fall. Sasuke looked up at you and gave you a small smile. "That man...until i...defeated my brother...i refused to die...that's what i decided but...you two...don't die...i'm sorry Y/n." And with that, Sasuke's hand went limp. You felt hot tears well up in your eyes as you looked at Sasuke.

Naruto's eyes widen. "Oi, Sasuke. Wake up. Duckbutt get up. You're joking right? Get up. Why aren't you waking up?! Get up Sasuke!" You yell shaking him frantically. Sasuke's eyes closed and his head fell onto your lap. "Wake up dammit! Don't close your eyes! Sasuke!" You shout with tears running down your face.

"Is this the first time you've faced a friend's death?" Haku asks. "This is the way of the shinobi..." Haku continues. "Shut up!" Naruto yells. "Even though...i hated you too..." Naruto starts while smoke surrounded him, you and Sasuke. "Naruto?" You mumble wiping your tears.

Red chakra surrounded Naruto and swirled around you, Naruto and Sasuke. "I won't forgive you!" Naruto yells at Haku. Red chakra continues to swirl around. Naruto looks up and has red eyes while the marks on his cheeks grew bolder. Naruto bared his fangs and yelled, "i'm going to kill you!". Naruto's chakra grew stronger each second. You backed away in fear. 'What is this? What is this immense chakra?! Its so strong! This isn't Naruto...no...it's the nine-tails. His chakra is so strong i'm cowering in fear. Naruto! Snap out of it!' You thought looking at Naruto in fear.

Naruto's wounds healed and his nails grew sharper. The red chakra surrounding the ice mirrors turned into something that looked like the nine-tails. Suddenly, the red/orange chakra disappeared into thin air as Naruto stood up and charged at Haku. You watched as Naruto and Haku fight.

Naruto broke ice mirrors and repelled the senbon needles that Haku threw. Naruto's chakra was so powerful, that you curled into a ball beside Sasuke, trying to avoid getting hurt. Your chakra wasn't used most of the fight, so it was replenished. You did the hand signs "Lightning armor!" You shouted, the tingly sensation engulfing your body.

You stood over Sasuke, just in case if he were alive, protecting him. The ice mirrors fell, making a shattering noise like glass. You looked up and at Naruto who was about to punch Haku, but stopped. You got off of Sasuke and looked at his face. 'It should've been me. I was the one who was going to die. Yet you stepped infront of me...why? Why Sasuke? Why would you do that? You wanted to kill your brother afterall.' You thought.

You let the jutsu of your lightning armor release and grab Sasuke's head gently, setting it on your lap. "Sasuke? Are you still there? You're still alive, right?" You said tapping him gently. But Sasuke remained limp and unmoving. You sigh as tears made their way back into your eyes, them falling out and onto Sasuke's face. You gently grab Sasuke's head once more and set it back on ground the softly. You sat beside Sasuke's body, looking as the mist slowly clears up. You look around you, trying to look for anyone near you. You see Naruto charge at Haku with a kunai but Haku stops him.

Haku disappears and appears infront of Zabuza, Kakashi's hand going through Haku. Haku protected Zabuza. Everyone looked in shock. Your eyes softened when you looked at Haku and Zabuza. 'They might've been bad, but they were human too. I understand Haku's story, even though I hadn't expierienced it myself. Haku never deserved what he did as a child, neither did Zabuza. Zabuza took care of Haku when he needed someone and he protects Zabuza in return. And in end result, Haku gave his life up protecting the one he loves and cares for most.' You thought.

Zabuza closed his eyes and looked down in pain. It hurt to see Haku die. Zabuza probably didn't realize how much he cared for Haku. Then, Zabuza chuckled and said how Haku did a good job. Zabuza took out his blade while Kakashi struggled to get his out of Haku's chest. Zabuza swung his blade down, but Kakashi took Haku and jumped out of the way.
