27. Toolbox

For the first time on this mission the boys, including Zemo let you be by yourself. It wasn't that you loved being by yourself, but sometimes even you needed to breathe. In this case you didn't even plan to have a break, you wanted to do research. You took up the little box Tony had given to you years ago. The proper name for it was 'Toolbox' and from an outside perspective it looked like a plane boring box, but of course it wasn't. It had all the data you could ever dream of, which made it extremely valuable. You made sure nobody was looking and carefully opened it before you put it on the table in front of you.

"Okay Nagel, let's see if we find anything on Donya Madani" you mumbled to yourself and searched up the woman Nagel had mentioned was connected to Karli. You found all the details you needed about her, including her medicine record which Nagel had been right about, Donya had Tuberculosis and was laying on her death bed. You minimized the screen and looked to the front where the boys sat.

"We need to go to Latvia, Riga" you said as all of them turned to look at you.

"Are you sure? Or is it just an excuse to visit your aunt?" Bucky asked with a cheeky grin.

You rolled your eyes at him and ignored his comment. You had forgotten how much he really knew about you, it honestly scared you a bit. You made the screen on the toolbox bigger and pushed it to their front so they could see all the details themself.

"Nagel mentioned a woman called Donya Madani. Right now she is on death bed with Tuberculosis, the doctor are giving her a day or two, therefor we know that Karli and her people will be back in Latvia if they not already are there" you said and showed the different documents. You took the toolbox with you and sat down on the opposite site of Zemo.

"I had forgotten about those boxes," Sam said, curious looking at it. "Not many of them left," he continued. You closed the screen and just held into the box. "What is it?" the old man asked. You couldn't help but wonder how both him and Steve must have reacted to the whole digital world, but again, Bucky have tried online dating, so he couldn't be too bad with his phone at least. "Stark tech, that has only been used by S.H.I.E.L.D really. Within that little box you have all the data in the world, with easy access to whatever you must nee" more didn't you let Sam say, he was way too eager talking about it "Maybe you shouldn't talk about it in front of him?" you said and pointed over to Zemo.

"I'm impressed," Zemo said with a light chuckle.

"I thought it was only Nick Fury and Tony who had those, then Nat when she took over." Sam said looking over at you. Of course you could continue adding a couple more names to that list, but what we were talking about right now was really government level secrets so you kept the names to yourself. You looked over at Sam "Tony gave it to me while you guys were on the run" you said with a little smile. You stared down at the box and let out a little chuckle before you pointed it up. "Tony thought that this little box could protect me" you said as you let your mind fall back into old memories.
