It's as simple as you make it. You opened your eyes, looking directly into Logan's. A little smile grew on your lips as you put one hand on his chest. The confusion of your movements, made him think you went a bit coco. You leaned forward.

"As I mentioned earlier, normally I would love being this close to you, so don't take this personal" you whispered in his ear.

You could feel the metal from his claws and with a simple push on his chest, you altered the field and pushed him up to the roof. The relief that went through your body when you saw him up there was indescribable. It felt easy, effortless.. like second nature. This was how you felt when you first started, before everything got so complicated. Charles ran over to you with a big smile "You did it!" he said as he opened his arms for you. You laughed as you went in for a hug. You knew that you just did what you did, but parts of you couldn't believe your own eyes. "Thank you so much Charles" you whispered to him.

"Okay, this is all very sweet, but care to put me down?" Logan yelled in annoyance 7 ft above us.

Oh gosh, you let go of Charles and looked up at Logan. "I don't know if I want to, that baton move was pretty dirty of you" you yelled back up to him. He rolled his eyes at you, and before he could say anything else you moved him down to the floor. "Thank you, and I'll love to take you up on that thing we had against the wall, maybe less hitting and more... you know... other kinds of moves" he said with a playful tone. You rolled your eyes and laughed. This was the Logan you had heard so much about. Charles looked at Logan in fear and before you could answer him, he had his fingers to his spine. Logan immediately grabbed his bottle of coca-cola and went away. You looked up at Charles and threw a hand at his chest.

"Did you just cockblock me?" you said with a smirk on your face.

"In my defense, I know he is not your type" he said and innocently took his hands up in the air.

This guy was such an idiot. You'll admit, he has the brain of the gods, but that doesn't take away from the stupid things he choose to do with it. What made it even more annoying, was that Charles was 100% right, but would you ever admit that to him? No! To be fair, he was probably reading your mind right now, cause his smile just grew bigger and bigger.

"Yes, of course I am" he said with a laugh and put his hand on your back. "I'm honoured to know you so well" he continued.

"Okay, okay, read my thought's now, I'll think you will like it" you said with a smirk. Charles leaned dangerously close to you, so you carefully jumped on the desk.

'Why are you so handsome? I mean Charles, you are as old as my dad? How do you even keep your hair so fresh and healthy at your age? Shouldn't we start to see gray hairs? Have you considered going bald? I think you would suit bald really well! Wanna know why? Because I still remember that night 5 years ago.. When you took so great care of me... it's almost like now, just on your desk in the office... imagine doing it here tho, little bit too public maybe? but anyway... that day, your skin against mine, naked... just make me think that a little bit more skin at the top of your head could be go...'

"Woman, you need to absolutely stop with the age jokes" Charles interrupted your thoughts. You laughed at him and took your arms around his neck "Oh, but they certainly work on you" you said confidently, and you had the facts to back it up. "What are you talking about, they don't," he said in confusion. The smirk on your lips was just growing and growing.

"Well, the excitement between your legs is telling me something differently, daddy" you whispered into his ear before you looked down at his crotch.

By this point, you just wanted to play with him. He looked down as his cheeks started to blush. The way you just so casually and sensually called him 'daddy' didn't exactly help in stopping the situation in his pants "You gonna be the death of me aren't you?" he whispered desperately.

You smiled at Charles and gave him a nod. What you liked about Charles was how playful he was and however much you had forced yourself into thinking that he didn't really, genuinely care for you and the mutants, you knew that deep down, he actually cared very deeply for everyone around him, even you. Maybe you could admit that it wasn't that bad being around people similar to you... and maybe even considering coming back here after the mission to stay for awhile.

"I have to go Charles, but... maybe..I could be allowed back some time soon? Without having to break in and everything?" you asked with a little laugh.

"Of course, love" he said gently before moving away from the desk, giving you space to get down. You gave him a short thankful nod. "Maybe we could even continue talking about this humble situation down there next time" Charles continued, clearly hinting at his pants. He couldn't just play nice for ten more minutes. You simply laughed at him and gave him a kiss on the cheek. "Goodbye Charles" you said as you walked towards the door.

"Don't forget your Batons!" he yelled, thinking you would turn back for them.

You stopped in the door, raised your hands as you altered the field and they came flying through the room, landing in your hands. You didn't need to turn around, to know that Charles was smiling proudly behind you.
